"It was very clean, the waitress was very professional and couldn't ask for a better waitress. The wait time was minimal from hostess, seating, order time, and wait time until the meal was served. We ordered the 5 piece chicken tender meal, which included a nice size garden salad, waffle fries, dinner rolls, and a sweet tea. The price was reasonable and fair for why we received it and it was very good. My waitress was very friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we requested."

"Chicken/ Dumpling Soup was excellent. Service was excellent and timely served. Steak was very good and cooked to perfection. Baked potato was very large and very good. Our server, Charles H. very clean and well groomed. He was extremely professional and highly efficient. I told him I was extremely pleased with and would give him 10 stars on his manners. I would return soon to this Steak house. Talked with the Manager before leaving and assured we would return."

"Outstanding on just about everything. Food was very flavorful, service (on first visit, July 31, 2023) was impeccable, atmosphere was uniquely Texas. Absolutely love this place and I wish they had a restaurant in Michigan. Prices were reasonable as were the hours of service. Ate inside but loved sitting outside on the deck portion after our meal. Our server for our (first-time, early afternoon) visit was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She knew it was our first visit to Indiana and she gave excellent advice on what to do in Michigan City. We did just about everything she recommended. She made our first visit to Texas Corral and Indiana shine. As for our server on 2nd visit, she was just okay- nothing special or worth noting. It was business as usual for her. As for the food, loved it and wanted to come back again and again. Ordered the sirloin steak w/chicken dumplings and bbq bacon burger w/fries the first time around and on the second visit, ordered the prime rib w/chicken dumplings and chicken alfredo and the "Texas Flower". All were cooked correctly and very, very flavorful. I will definitely be back to Texas Corral for lunch and dinner next year when we visit Michigan City, IN. Well done, Texas Corral, well done!!"

"If you could combine LongHorn, Outback, and Texas Roadhouse into one…. This would be your place! I’m not from the area and this was my first time ever seeing this chain before so we decided to give it a try. Has your typical western theme with country music playing in the background. We were there early afternoon on a weekday so it wasn’t too busy and we had no wait for a table. Menu is a bit confusing as meals came with a salad or soup, but I couldn’t find a list of soups anywhere on the menu. When asked the server she stated they only had chicken and dumplings, husband was a little disappointed though because he was wanting chilli. We both ordered steak dinners, he ordered his medium. When asked how I wanted my steak cooked, I said as I do whenever I order steak… that I want it as rare as you are allowed to serve it. The waitress replied asking me if I wanted it blue rare…. I about fell out of my seat!! That was the first time I have ever had a server actually use the terminology for what I wanted. I never order it blue as most servers have no idea what your talking about but this lady did! I was so excited! Wait time on food was normal, food was served hot and everything turned out perfect! I would go back if I’m the area and would recommend a stop if you can. I still have to my server a super shout out though because she was on top of everything, you can’t beat good service and she was excellent!!!"

"Good food with a reasonable price. Service can be hit or miss, though. Our service and food this time was excellent. Everything was fast, fresh, and delicious. My Country Fried Steak was huge, and the gravy was so creamy. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly with very little fat on it. We will go back."
