"Great food, love this Hamlin's and the Bob Dylan look alike was pretty good. Our service was off. We were a group of 15, but a refill on a fountain drink is not too much to ask. We aren't demanding and nothing out of the ordinary, but I think our server was probably overworked."
"The bartenders were great but our server was horrible. We had to keep going to the bar to get drinks; we're talking 30 minutes plus without seeing her (server). The band they had was great (Planet of Fun) and people were friendly. The food was decent, good bar food. We had nachos and garlic parmesan fries."
"We had our baby shower here yesterday (3/25) and the girls working the party were just amazing! Kristina and Raychel were not only on top of everything, but they were so so friendly and personable. The food was great and everyone had a wonderful time!"
"I needed a banquet room to throw a surprise 50th Anniversary Party with 50 guests. My must haves: Private room, casual clean atmosphere, delicious comfort food, low to no extra fees, within a budget of $1500 or less. I was so grateful for Hamlin Pub in Shelby, it was the perfect spot! Morgane the banquet manager was extremely accommodating and very easy to work with! The food was delicious & hot with plenty leftovers for guests. We booked the larger of the 2 banquet rooms (up to 72 ppl) for 4 hours on a Sunday evening, had a slideshow on the large tv, private bar w/bartender, 2 entrees, and multiple sides. Highly highly recommend!"
"Stopped by the Hamlin Pub for a quick bite to eat. The restaurant was pretty packed on a Tuesday at 6pm. I was able to find a spot at the bar and was greeted by Marcie who advised me of the special of the day (Burger & Brew for $7.99) while that’s a great deal, I opted for a happy hour craft beer and their Cajun Steak Bites. The steak bites were cooked exactly as I requested (medium rare) served in a bowl of zip sauce, blue cheese and scallions. They nailed the zip sauce as sometimes it can be overly salty, this was perfect.. and the addition of the blue cheese and scallions gave great flavor. Great local bar/restaurant with a menu that has just about anything you’d desire. Great weekly specials. Trivia Tuesdays and a DJ on the weekends if that’s what you’re into. 10/10"
