Robertson's Hair Center

"Excellent little baber shop located on first level of office space in Traverse City. This little quaint barbershop is minutes from Main street in Traverse City. I was visiting family, and really needed a haircut, I called different places and all were booked or had to wait. Another baber shop I called and stopped by looked more like a hair salon than barber shop. Due that it was around 5 and everything closed or closing, and or had a long wait I called Robertson's. He was supposed to close at 5 but said he would wait for me. I ran over there and nice gentleman Robertson took me in and back in time cutting my hair. No fancy salon, or place that looks posh. This was just a simple traditional barbershop. Excellent hair cut nice high and tight! Very friendly and good conversation through out. Only down side and not 5 stars is that they only take cash...they need to take credits cards, debit cards etc..."

"Perfect haircut and the barbers are super friendly. Will make sure to stop here whenever I can. The prices are very reasonable as well, they do not over charge like a lot of the other local places! I went in wanting to try a hard part and the barber was very reassuring about knowing how to do the haircut. I was a bit nervous but then explained to him about length and what I was looking to do and he promised a great cut... and he delivered! I wish there was a place close to me like this! Keep it up Robertson's Barbers!!!"

"I was surprisingly disappointed when I came here. It had such great reviews I didn't think twice. I asked for a simple touch up, and the lady basically shaved my whole head (without even applying alcohol after to prevent folliculitis). It felt to me like only the locals get good service here because they've done enough trial and error for the barbers to get it right and memorize individual preference. Like one of the reviewed mentioned before me, I'm sorry to say I didn't enjoy my experience here, and won't be returning if I'm ever back in the city."

"Best hair cut since I've moved up here from down state! Gary was excellent! Meticulous attention to detail! I believe there is not many reviews on Google due to the average customer's age lol but you can get a modern cut. This place is busy due to word of mouth and it shows."
