I had a great massage compared to the first one that I had there years ago but luckily that masseuse doesn’t work there anymore. Tonya (I believe that’s who I had..I’m horrible remembering names) was very professional and she walked me through the whole process. I felt so relaxed by the end of my session! "Today was my second facial and lash lift with their esthetician, Ashley. If you haven’t seen her for either of those yet I highly recommend you do. She’s gentle, soothing, soft with her hands and gave me the bestttt massage. She always explains what she’s doing and makes sure you’re comfortable. She has a lot of knowledge behind all the skin care questions I ask her and I trust her answers. 1000/10 recommend her! Coming from a background in the cosmetic industry everything here has been great. The staff, the environment, cleanliness, the professionalism. "Do not go to this salon if you have short hair! I decided to try De Jolie based on positive reviews. I made an appointment online and was assigned a stylist, Marissa. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment, and was told to take a seat. After waiting 10 minutes after my appointment time, someone came up to me and informed me that my stylist was finishing up and it would be just a few more minutes. I did notice that prior to speaking with me, she was talking to a stylist and they were looking at me so I assumed the girl was my stylist. After waiting almost 20 minutes after my appointment time, I went to the front desk and said I was canceling my appointment. I was then told by the receptionist that the stylist assigned to me, didn’t feel comfortable cutting short hair, and that the salon was trying to find a different stylist. When asked why I wasn’t told this 10 minutes ago they said they were trying to do “damage control” and that I would’ve been told later. I’m not sure how anyone can graduate from cosmetology school and not feel comfortable cutting all types of hair. Please use this review as a word of caution. If you have mature hair, you may want to go to a different salon and avoid this establishment at all cost!"
