"I came for a massage appointment that was gifted to me by my employer, the initial intake and massage itself was good however there were times when the spa area was very loud and noisy while patrons were being serviced. This made it very difficult to “relax” and not be distracted by the loud conversations coming from outside the door. Lastly, I found it to be EXTREMELY embarrassing and very discouraging to ever return. Reason being, after sitting in their lobby area for quite some time after my service was completed, I was waiting on my vehicle to arrive and when it did I proceeded to head out, this is when an employee followed and flagged me down out the door for “form of payment”. This appointment had been set and given proper instructions on payment a week prior to me arriving AS WELL AS A 20% tip included. It took a good amount of time for the employee to locate this info and allow me to leave. Needless to say my “relaxed” appointment quickly turned negative and I did not enjoy the experience or the turn of events."

"I used this salon for my bridal party & it was great! The manager DJ was able to book hair & makeup for 6 of us without any issue. Marie made my wedding dreams come true by doing my hair and makeup perfectly- it lasted well into the night. The other makeup artists and hair stylists were fabulous as well (sorry, don't remember their names!). We were even able to bring breakfast in while everyone got ready. Such a fun morning.. thanks again, Aveda Woodhaven!"

"I just went to this salon yesterday, and the customer service is great, they take great care of you while you’re there. My stylist was very good at listening to what I was asking for, and seemed to pay good attention to detail. She had told me my front pieces needed to process for 15 minutes and she would be back to check them, but I didn’t see her until 30 minutes later (a big difference with bleach!) and my foils weren’t even checked, just was immediately taken to rinse my hair out (not sure if this has anything to do with how light my front pieces came out on the right). At first I thought it looked very good, and I was happy with my results. Although their lighting was a bit weird, and it was also my first time to a salon, I usually do my own hair. Well I got home and did a little more looking at it in the mirror and in different lighting, and first off there was still dye on my forehead (I’m not sure if that’s normal from salons or not), but then I also come to realize half of my head looks like blonde stripes, just not blended well at all. The left side looks perfect but the right side is terrible. I called to get it fixed and was told I could come in next week for her to look at it. My overall experience was alright, I liked that she was nice and caring, I just don’t like how my hair turned out for paying $200. On top of it I have to drive back out to the salon. At this point I kind of wish I would’ve just requested my money back and took it elsewhere! In the darker photos you can’t tell (this was how it looked outside when I got done-dark) But once I got home you can see in the brighter lighting it just didn’t turn out good. Monday I will edit this review to tell if my opinion has changed, I wanted to write my original experience though."
