"Waiting an hour and a half for an urgent care appointment while the receptionists are joking around acting like they get paid to avoid their job isn't quite professional. Didnt even see a doctor. Throw out your receptionist staff. THERE WAS NO ONE IN THE LOBBY. WHERE WAS THE DOCTOR? 2 HOUR SMOKE BREAK??. What a sad joke."
"If I could leave 0 stars I would. My family and I have been going to this practice long before it grew to be so large and even then the office staff was an issue but at least the quality of care was still excellent. That excellent care is also now non-existent as well. Our oldest son has been battling with varying symptoms for over 6 months now that continue to get worse. Every single time we go into the office for an appointment or through the urgent care, we are told it is likely just a virus and to let it run its course and or they throw him on antibiotics and tell us just to rotate Tylenol/Motrin. We wind up back in that office within days when these flare ups happen and still are met with absolutely no answers or attempts at answers. I have had to ask for referrals to specialists multiple times, (which I am SO thankful that one of them informed us that with our insurance we don't need that referral and can call any specialist which alleviated a lot of stress) Fast forward to our sons symptoms flaring up again this week and calling to get into an appointment and was met with rude and unnecessary comments by the office staff. We have had a lot of mixed messages when going into the urgent care so we prefer just to see our NP now, Michelle as she knows the kids without relying on a chart. I was told he was only seen a couple of months ago and is not a priority to be seen even though I was very openly explaining his symptoms worsening along with new very concerning symptoms and the fact that he cannot attend school right now because of it and asked for a message to be given to the nurse to see what our next steps should be as anytime we go into the ER and get any relief we are told to follow up with our PCP for long-term treatment plan/testing, etc. This is something we have done in the past to see if Michelle feels they need to be seen asap or has suggestions etc and it has never been an issue. Instead I was told he couldn't be seen until Mid March and that he doesn't take precedence over anyone else and they didn't give message to the NPs or their nurses. I was questioned if we had taken him to the ER, which we have multiple times to which I explained that they have told us to follow up with our PCP. I lost my patience today for the entire lack of professionalism from the start of that phone call and quite frankly, I do not regret it. We will be switching our Primary Care Provider because of this interaction and will not just be letting this absolute lack of care and recognition to extremely concerning symptoms of one of their patients go."
"I had a great experience from start to finish. ALL STAFF was Excellent from the Reception, medical assistant and Doctor. Thank you for exceptional service"
"This review will be in regards to the urgent care and the family practice, since my family goes to both. The urgent care nurses are typically wonderful, I particularly love how kind they are to my daughter when she is there. But there has been several times now that the urgent care doctor on staff did not give quality care. I am not someone that complains right away. This has been a long time coming. One time I needed stitches and the doctor told me to go to ER because of potential nerve damage. So weird, because the nurse looked confused when i was leaving. Imagine my surprise when the hospital staff looked at me like I was nuts and told me there isn't even nerves in that area?!?! Thank God I have insurance that covers copays, because If I found out I had to pay $200 due to a doctor'a laziness, best believe they would have been covering that bill! That is just ONE incident. There has been many. But my main issue right now is actually with the family practice. Most (I say most because some of them are wonderful) of the receptionists do not know how to be professional. My last encounter with a girl named Diamond was disgusting. There is a zero lack of empathy. Most of them cut you off halfway through a sentence and transfer you to a voice-mail where you typically wait a day or two to even get the help you need. It will typically be something reception can handle. Today was my worst experience, yet. So much so that my family will be relocating. I was on the phone with this office the entire day starting at 10 am. I was cut off a prescription I have been on for about two years cold turkey due to an issue with insurance. I need the medicine, so I unfortunately am opting to pay out of pocket. They called the script into a pharmacy that charges almost triple with goodrx in comparison to Walmart. So I immediately called back to request they transfer it, knowing they are closing soon and I'm running out of time before the weekend. The receptionist of course cut me off snd transferred me to Stephanie's voice-mail, ensuring me she would call me right back. Well, she didn't. She went home. And when i called, diamond informed me of this. I said she needs to call someone because I cant go another 3 days without this medication. Diamond just kept saying the doctor left and she doesnt know what to tell me. She lacked any form of empathy and had a thick accent of attitude the entirety of our conversation. I told this woman that my medicine makes it so I can function and I'm suffering and she just kept saying the "doctor isn't in" like a broken record. She started cutting me off and talking over top of me, making it clear she just wants me to stop talking so she can go back to doing the bare minimum in her job. I told her she is extremely unprofessional and lacks any form of empathy in her voice. She proceeded to argue with me until i hung up. WOW! Zero care for patients, and it shows. I worked reception work for many, many years. I would never ever treat anyone like this and I'm pretty sure I could handle something as simple as asking the Dr's assistant to call the script into a different pharmacy. Pure laziness and there is no excuse."
"I really didn't want to do this but I thought I would be doing a societal favor by posting this. I have been in and out of hospitals my entire life, I was born with multiple rare conditions and disorders. Missing fingers and toes and a serious metabolic disorder, etc. This place (staff and PCP) has mocked me, belittled me, laughed at me when I needed there help. I was here for about year and half begging for the doctor to just see me. I was right in front of them and they would not hear, see, or understand me. I have been reading a book called How to be a Patient: The Essential Guide to Navigating the World of Modern Medicine by Sana Goldberg, RN. She states in a list on Page 33 of What to Look For in a PCP and my PCP at this very location failed to meet any of them. I was too ill to realize it at the time plus I was referred to her by someone I was under the notion that I could trust - that I know now should have never been the case that I invested my trust in - either one of them. Goldberg goes to say that: - " They should be willing to explain their thinking to you." - "They should be curious." - "They should be willing to admit when something is outside their wheelhouse." - "They should be receptive listeners." Following each of these statements, Goldberg provides brief supplementary information. I would not give this place a 5/5 stars since I did not receive that kind of care whatsoever. I have left my PCP appointments from this place in tears. Shame on all of you..."
