Chipotle Mexican Grill

"I have never had such a bad experience at a Chipotle until I came here. You would think during prime dinner hours the place would be packed or at least people there. Since there wasn’t it was a bit alarming. I guess the word is out around town, but not to the travelers. If I didn’t say what i wanted on my food I’d still be there staring at the lady waiting for her to tell me what i needed and what goes with each dish. I ask for things then when things are out she puts the scraps on there and calls it good without replacing or substituting for something else. the few scraps they do have are lumps of things not separated. I got extra food of things of onions in with my meat. mixing food isn’t good. honestly i guess this is the standard of michigan city…trashy. Go anywhere else this place totally sucks."

"Going to say I love Chipotle as someone who is gluten free and think that this location was just busy and it was an honest mistake! Ordered for pickup (5 bowls) and each bowl wasn’t labeled and wasn’t assembled correctly. When we went inside to pick it up there was a long line so I think the staff was in a rush. Very fun puzzle of figuring out who’s bowl was what but we lived!"

"After driving for 6 hours, I was really looking forward to a good burrito. I was very disappointed. The staff was super inattentive. The two girls making the burrito were completely silent to me the entire time. It was bizarre. The only person who spoke to me was the guy at the checkout counter. The restaurant was super dirty and the food was not hot. I had to ask for one of the staff members to please MOVE so I could fill up my drink, she was playing on her phone in front of the pop machine. What the heck, guys. This was a super disappointing experience."

"I was in this past Sunday, and I found a produce label from an avocado in my bowl. I am adding a pic of it to this review. Service wasn’t bad, but the atmosphere was so lackluster. The entire place required a good cleaning, there was food all over the floor, tables were dirty, paper towel was overflowing in restrooms. I wish I could say the food was OK, but the avocado label was a huge turn off. We were in a hurry to get back home, the line was quite busy, so I did not want to be all “Karen” and make things worse for everybody. So management: I am telling you now, hire more help and or offer more training."

"I’ve always loved Chipotle. This location is clean but they need better customer service. Why work with people if you don’t like people? I just don’t feel like my business is appreciated when I visit. If gas wasn’t so expensive I would drive to another location. This location always makes my food right and it’s always fresh, but they aren’t the nicest staff. I’ll probably just order online from here on out."
