"Still no issues with staying here. Lots of the rooms are occupied by residential residents. Service is still timely and efficient (towels/toiletries as needed - sheets changed/floors mopped on Sundays). Plenty of parking. Red Apple restaurant right in front of the inn. Close to shopping, carryout (White Castle, Wendy', and Taco Bell less than a block away), and entertainment."

"Clean, quiet rooms. Reasonably priced with a restaurant on property. If you're in the Wayne/Westland area and need a room I'd definitely suggest it."

"This is unfortunately the most utilitarian motel option around. To stay in Detroit city proper, you’re gonna need to shell out about $150+, especially when there’s a special event in town like Jazz Fest in my case. Most of the other remaining motels in the surrounding suburbs are roach/bed bug infested, according to various google and Expedia reviews. Red Apple Inn was a nice $65, and did not have any bugs, which I appreciated a great deal. However, the stay was still rough. My bedding was not clean, and I was kept up until about 3am due to various … activities outside my door, and my neighbors’ televisions which not even the loudest noise machine could drown out, due to the paper thin walls that I was pretty sure I could poke a hole through. I’ve been all around the country as a traveling healthcare worker and Detroit is easily in the bottom 3 of metro areas for lodging options. When the Red Apple Inn is your best option, there’s a problem."

"I needed to shoot a music video and had a vision in mind, I called this place after I found it on Google and was so impressed with the great customer service on the phone by both of the employees. I booked and Jennifer greeted me when I arrived. She was so nice and helpful. The room was clean and the setting was exactly what I needed for my shoot. It went perfectly and checkout was easy. Did a walkthrough with Jennifer and was on my way with my amazing footage! Highly recommend this little gem."
