"This place is amazing. They took my dog in later in the day for a surgery when I couldn’t find anybody I almost had to go to the emergency vet which is 75% more expensive. they were very nice and caring, and did an awesome job on his surgery"

"Have been taking our cats to Nichols for over 20 years. No more. Had a blood test to determine if our cat was diabetic could never get the results. Called 5 different times and each time was told the vet that ordered the test was no longer there but someone would call us back. No one called us. Got the records for new vet.. Showed my cat was diabetic and the records showed no one had contacted us. My cat died because no one at Nichols cared enough to pick up a phone to call us back"

"I called to make an appointment for a new kitty who was outside for a little but until we rescued him. I called they to all my info over the phone made an appointment for the next morning. We got in at maybe 5 minutes got taken back back everything was great we agreed on the testing and shots. Very looked him over answered all of my questions. They came with how much it would cost I said great they took him back for blood work and shots (I understand this some people get upset seeing there cats hurting because of blood draw). Brought him back to us and we paid and left (ok I talked some more). From the call to leaving everyone was super nice and friendly. Prices were good. I even got a call before I got home letting me know his test results. Thank you guys."

"We’ve been coming here for years, our dog and now our cat, and with each visit the quality of care has been decreasing over time. Today was the last straw for us and we’ve decided to find a new veterinarian. We had a 9:30am appointment today, thinking if we get in close to opening, we would avoid the hour + long wait we typically experience. Today, we waited 2 1/2 for the veterinarian to see us. At one point, 90 minutes in, they offered to take my cat back into another room and the doctor would “do the visit and shots as he passed by between rooms”. That didn’t settle well with me, and I declined stating that I prefer to see and speak with the doctor. Apparently one doctor had called off and they had a lot of walk-ins that they admittedly took before us. I was trying to be understanding and just wanted to start & finish the visit. Perhaps do to his age or lack of experience, the doctor did not handle my cat well. I wasn’t comfortable with his approach and didn’t trust him to do the rest of the visit or shots. I ended the visit and will find a better option for my animal care. I recommend you avoid this clinic. The veterinarians used to have established relationships with pet owners, they now appear to be quantity over quality."

"It's been a couple years so I can talk about this now. It hurt too much before. I had a cat for 14 years. I brought him here in the first few months of the pandemic... July 2020... I was $100 short of what it would cost to save his life. I explained to her that my husband was a senior employee at Ford motor company and that we had recently used our savings to pay our bills through the first few months of the pandemic... I explained to her that I would have the last $100 in just seven short days. The doctor shamed me for not having the money. Told me that it was irresponsible as a pet owner to not have the money. I was so desperate I was in the parking lot asking others who were waiting to have their animals seen if they could help me with the last $100. Nobody cared. He passed that day. I had to make the decision to put him down because it was cheaper than the life saving procedure. These people only care about profits they do not care about your loved one."
