"Wake up at 2:00 in the morning and room is flooding from under the wall and the plumbing is leaking from between the walls just got brand new presents today $300 purse a bunch of new clothes bunch of makeup a cell phone a tablet it is all ruined and water damaged went to the front desk and the woman came down and took pictures a couple pictures of a couple items not even all that was water damaged said there is nothing she can do but move our room would not give us any towels would not wake up a manager because it was too late to wake up a manager she said would not give our money back because we've been here too long would not dry any of the items that are soaked would not give us any towels was rude would not let me talk very disappointed this is why we don't stay at some of the other hotels in bad areas but apparently that was a bad choice because at least they would have compensated us by giving our money back or taking care of the items that were ruined to add to we have stayed here probably 20 days out of the last month and still would not do anything all my stuff is ruined it is brand new just got it today I'm floored what happened to customer service and liability and doing the right thing so disappointed in this place"

"Horrible experience with Imperial Inn, Grand Blanc.. I woke up to BED BUGS crawling on me in room 121!! I reported the bed bug problem to the manager, but she refused to refund my money - at 3:00am - and told me if I want a refund I'd have to take it up with the owner, who won't be back until Tuesday!! Today is Sunday!!!! (Sunday, May 28th, 2023) I will be back on Tuesday demanding my refund for BOTH NIGHTS I rented this room!! If the owner does not fix this and compensate me for my troubles, I'll have no choice but to hire an attorney.. The state of Michigan has laws against motels/hotels with bed bug infestations.."

"Called way in advance to book one room with 2 beds because my friend and I would be getting into Flint airport late. Rechecked with Imperial the week of vacation. Reassured me they wouldn't give my reserved room away. Get there night of and was told there was no such room reserved for me. Then lady found in her booking for me twice, 2 rooms with 1 bed in each room. Meaning, I would have to pay for 2 single rooms. Nonetheless, I decided to not stay and drive all the way home after midnight."
