Homewood Suites by Hilton Novi Detroit

"I love that the rooms have a full kitchen, however the kitchen and the living room area is kind of small compared to most kitchenettes that I’ve been to however the rooms are spacious. The location is perfect with a lot of things to do near by but it’s kind of far if you’re coming from detroit or the immediate surrounding areas. What stood out to me was the customer service. When we arrived house keeping had already left but there were housekeeping issues with the room. Dirty fridge and it wasn’t vacuumed. The desk host Jaylen was very proactive and quick to assist. Despite him working the desk he made sure to visit my room with the housekeeping cart and vacuumed and cleaned the areas in the kitchen that had been missed by housekeeping. Him being speedy with my concerns made me feel at ease during my trip."

"Great place and rooms were clean. Accessible location to twelve oaks mall and food. Quick shopping center area as well. Need some space away from the house but wana feel comfortable like your home this would be a great option and there's a pool so don't forget swimwear Overall, I'm glad I found this gem"

"This was an accidental booking as we were planning to stay at Hyatt for the MARVAC show accessibility. Even so, location was close enough that we could still spend ample time viewing the show. Staff here was accommodating and friendly. Rooms were perfect for is bringing grandson. Beds were comfortable and room was super clean"

"The room was kinda dirty for a hilton. Floors weren't vacuumed and bathtub was gross. The plates had hair on them. Try to get a top level room cause you can hear the ppl above you really badly. The service was great tho. I loved the business center and the pool area looked nice. It's kinda expensive for the area."

"Update: I called Hilton's customer support and they forwarded my situation to the hotel manager. The hotel manager has made no attempt to contact me since then. I would love to change this and give them a great review for understanding my situation and resolving my issue, but they flat out refuse to do so. If you want good customer service, you should really look elsewhere. I'm really sad because I've always prioritized stayed at Hilton hotels and this was a terrible experience. I booked a non-refundable room for my girlfriend and I to stay on vacation, but we did not expect her mother to pass away right before the check-in date. I never had the intention to cancel my booking or request a refund, but this was a last minute emergency. The hotel refused to give me a refund or even credit for a future stay. Losing money on my stay over an unexpected last-minute tragedy where we had to change plans last minute didn't make me feel like this hotel values their customers at all."
