The staff goes out of there way to help and there is a very caring atmosphere. His teachers in the Cedar room have been wonderful. "Take my review with a bit of a grain of salt since my son hasn’t attended the Novi Woods Montessori. My review is a reflection of how poorly our experience went checking them out. We had an appointment scheduled to visit, which was cancelled the day of. Not a big deal, so we rescheduled for the following week. We(myself, my wife, my mom and my son) showed up for our appointment and were told that the person who would give the tour wasn’t there. They said “you didn’t get the mass cancellation text?” Of course we hadn’t otherwise we wouldn’t have showed up, so that was frustrating. We had pretty much made up our mind that this place was too unorganized to consider sending our son to, and the fact that nobody closed the loop with us in the days after confirmed that. We also noticed small towels and masks littered around the playground. Our appointment appeared to be set around the time many parents pick their kids up, so maybe they just hadn’t gotten to cleaning yet. No vitriol at all, just passing along our experience. This may be a fantastic Montessori, but we didn’t get to see that."

"Our family loves Novi Woods Montessori. We have had 2 children graduate from the school and one child currently there. It was the best investment we made for our kids. Our older children who are now in elementary and middle school, were so well prepared, both academically and socially, when they transitioned to the public school. The Montessori program gave our kids confidence and independence. The staff is friendly and makes everyone feel safe and welcome. I am really impressed by the quality and tenure of the staff. Miss Sue and Miss Evelyn have been there for the entire 10 years span our kids attended the school. I saw a recent picture of one of Miss Evelyn’s previous students who graduated from high school come back in her cap and gown to pose with her at the school. That just shows you what a special school this is and what fond memories the kids have of preschool at Novi Woods."
