Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Novi, MI

"Disgusting hotel and staff doesn’t care. My first room had a dirty bed with someone else’s hair all under the blankets. I asked for a linen change but they didn’t have any housekeepers on property at the time so I had to change the sheets myself and the set they gave me had stains. The bathtubs are badly stained grey from people’s nastiness. It’s 20 degrees outside and they left the AC on and the window open in my room. Also the toilet was clogged and they offered to give me a plunger to unclog it myself when it was not my doo-ing if you know what I mean. I had to ask to be moved to a second room and it wasn’t any better. There was a big muddy shoe print on the bathroom floor, no towels, the ceiling had water damage, the beds are hard, and the property smells like cigarettes. Arman was kind but the night hotel staff had little to no empathy. Check out the photos. I was given two free items from the snack bar as a grievance prize. -_- Horrible."

"Bed was too firm and my back hurt the next morning. Asked for extra towels, and there weren't anymore clean ones to hand out so we just reused our towels. Room was fairly clean."

"Clean and comfortable enough, but I wish they would've turned off the loud music in the fitness center after it closed instead of leaving it on all night. And I wish they would've closed the door to the kitchen so I didn't have to be woken up to loud pots and pans banging around being washed. Also, part of the coffee machine was missing, and I wasn't able to make any. But it was fine, I guess."

"Overall, it was a nice hotel. My only complaint would be that we were on the first floor and heard people coming & going most of the night. While I do appreciate a firm bed, ours was painfully firm. The shower needed an upgrade. Otherwise, the location was great, the room was spacious and had a nice atmosphere. Breakfast was good. The setting was peaceful and quiet despite being in a busy area."

"The hotel could be nice if they took better care of it. More staff is needed for a good deep clean and lots of dusting along with supplies to take care of their guests. The man at the front desk was very rude when I tried to take food to my husband in the room. Although there's a microwave and fridge in the room, and they offer room service, no breakfast allowed in the rooms. We had 4 people in our room they only gave us 2 washcloths and then we asked for more he only gave us 2 towels because they had none to give to the guests. We had to go buy our own! The hot tub was so filthy that it had brown stuff floating in the foam. The pool was so dirty! It had a ridiculous amount of chlorine in it that it was burning our eyes....so they didn't have to clean it! The carpet in the hallway was wet, and our room was at the end of the hallway.... no idea where the water was coming from. This was our second stay here. Unfortunately, we won't be back!"
