"When one checks in to a bed and breakfast in the Midwest—and probably just about anywhere else— he doesn’t expect to be welcomed with a glass of Rhône blend. Nor does one expect to be quizzed about any dietary restrictions or preferences and then surprised by a three course breakfast that takes into account those restrictions—in my case a plant based diet. But that’s what happened at the Judson Heath Colonial Inn. The charm of the 19th century refurbished and well-appointed mansion is only outmatched by the hosts, Jenn and Steve. Worth a trip to Saugatuck just for the stay."

"Stay here!!! This B&B was beautifully restored, with such charm! Our room was very clean and comfortable and had lots of character. The breakfast was probably the highlight - a 3-course gourmet breakfast each morning. Absolutely delicious - honestly, probably the best food we had on our trip to Saugatuck. And, the little Inn dog, Jimmy, is adorable."

"Bed was comfortable (which isn't a given at small BnB's). The breakfast was amazing, (which also isn't always the case). Stayed in Singapore room and the jetted tub was fabulous. Easy walk to lots of restaurants and galleries. Highly recommend."

"We had a lovely weekend getaway at Judson Heath Colonial Inn! As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Steve, Jenn, and Jimmy (their adorable dog) and given a local beer as well as local restaurant recommendations. We stayed in the Percheron room, which was very clean and comfortable. The location of the Inn is perfect - it is located in a quiet neighborhood that is a very short walk to downtown Saugatuck. The breakfasts were incredible - Jenn is a very talented chef - and we enjoyed the conversations with Jenn, Steve, and the other guests. I would recommend a stay at the Judson Heath Colonial Inn, and we would love to visit again in the future!"

"Had a great stay here! The innkeepers, Jenn & Steve, are very nice and make sure your visit goes well. Breakfast each morning is so delicious and differs every day, so you are always in for a tasty surprise. The whole place is very nicely restored and the rooms are nicely appointed. The recommendations they give for local food and activities were great as well and the location is perfect; a couple blocks from downtown, which made for a peaceful stay that is close to everything. Would definitely stay here again on our next Saugatuck vacation."
