"I can’t say enough great things about these cabins! Amazing location - only 5 miles from Houghton / Hancock. You are right on Portage Lake so the view is awesome! The cabins come with all the essentials and more! Each cabin has its own grill. The check in and check out process was very smooth and easy! Will definitely be returning and recommending these cabins to anyone that will be in the area."
"Really nice place with cabins right on the water. Cabins seem nice and have a great view with dock and swim area out front. Rented the pontoon boat for a day and it was a great time! Pontoon is in fantastic condition with plenty of room for family and friends and plenty of power to get you where you want to go. The scenery from the water can't be beat! The owners were very friendly and accommodating making everything easy and pleasant. Look forward to visiting again."
"I have been working and staying in this area for quite a few months on and off. These cabins, by far, are the absolute best place to stay in town! Amazing views, close to town, cozy and comfortable, clean and well maintained, with all the comforts of being at home. The owners are incredible, very patient and understanding. Anyone coming through or planning a trip to the area, don’t waste your time with name brand hotels, definitely book here at the portage lake cabins!"
