"My family members had mixed experiences with Banfield, which isn't the fault of the staff. They've been shortstaffed for years and it has made it tough for everyone. But for the last couple years, they have helped me with treating my cat with IBD and Hyperthyroidism, and helping me review alternative food contents when the RX one got to expensive, and going over my research with me to help find alternative treatments when one thing wasn't working. It kept my beloved Ebony going for a couple years. She saw many of the veterinarians there, but Dr. Knall saw her the most, and was there with us in the end giving kind and compassionate care. It was reassuring to be able to hear her give all the options, but give validation about our choice, because this was so hard. I really needed to hear a professional say it so I knew I was doing the right thing by my baby. That has helped me get through the grieving without the guilt of not knowing if we made the right call. And the love and respect all the staff treated us and our baby with meant the world."

"On 12/18 their online hours stated they were open until 6pm. I drove 40 minutes out to this location to purchase prescription cat food, just for them to have a sign on the door they closed at 4. I arrived there at 4:15, unaware their early closure that was not stated online. Employees were still in the office just standing around and saw me outside in the cold, I pleaded with them to allow me to purchase some of this prescription cat food, as other locations didn’t have it and I needed it ASAP. They were insanely rude to me and refused to even talk to or acknowledge me, just kept saying NO to me in a stern and disrespectful way. It’s the holiday season, I wish they could have at least been kind or understanding that I came all the way out here since their website said they were open, and I can’t get this food anywhere else at the moment. Shame on them."

"we’re long term clients of this banfield, from back when it was inside petsmart. love the convenience of drop off appointments. wait times can sometimes be long, but it’s because they spend a quality amount of time with each client. they’re always very accommodating to us. highly recommend their wellness plans to maximize the value of your pets healthcare."

"Great experience with my pets care. They always did a great job and we were clients for several years. Sometimes the wait time got to be too long, but most of the time they were on time. I recently visited and found out my dog was very sick (already old) and was suffering. I made the decision to let him cross the rainbow bridge and the staff was so kind and warm. I know people don't like to think about putting down a pet, but they made this experience less painful by being patient, answering all of my questions, and they let me hold and comfort my dog in the process. They have options for burial and cremation as well. Definitely don't recommend having to say goodbye to a pet, but if you have to do it, do it here. Thanks Dr. F."

"I had brought my dog in for an infection in his right ear, which was treated and healed nicely. A few weeks later at his check-up for his right ear, the vet had mentioned that his left ear was looking a little inflamed, and that we should "keep an eye on it". Quite literally the next day his left ear was bright red, swollen, and causing pain to him. I called back and tried to schedule a follow-up visit for him, but was told the soonest I could get in was more than a week later, so I took that and tried my best to treat it at home. After I was able to get my dog back in to get treated for his left ear, I asked the staff why they did not treat his ear as soon as they saw it was irritated. To which I was told by the vet, and I quote, "I got my lefts and rights mixed up". So my dog was in unnecessary pain for over a week because the staff could not tell which ear they had previously treated. And now, I was supposed to have three of my pets (which are all on wellness plans) get their teeth cleaned tomorrow, only to be told less than 24 hours in advance that they will not have surgery staff for the procedure tomorrow for two of them and that I need to reschedule after I have already taken time off work. And now I am being told that I have to wait another month to get their dental cleanings done... All in all, very disappointed with the service that I am receiving, especially considering how much I am paying every month for their wellness plans. Why offer a wellness plan when I have to wait weeks to get my pets seen??"
