"I see a psychiatrist and a therapist. I am having a problem with my prescriptions. I am expected to call in every month a week ahead of time to let them know that I need a refill. I do not understand why I cannot get three refills at a time as I see the psychiatrist every three months. I am being told that they no longer can do three refills. It is my responsibility to keep track and call in a week before my prescriptions are ready for refill. I’ll do my part and call a week ahead of time yet it doesn’t get filled. When I go to my pharmacy, they tell me. The prescription was not in the computer and therefore I did not get my refill, which is very important to my mental health. I am being charged a pretty hefty fee. I feel like the service is declining. I would also like to add that my psychiatrist and my therapist are very good. The problem is with the prescriptions."

"By far this is one of the worst experiences I have had. I missed appointments with the therapist what you have to see no matter what, even though I was just there for the psychiatrist. I am a single mother, and I have no family to help me. Tell They are all past and I am adopted so nobody who can watch my children and my boyfriend works all day and they only have appointment times while he is at work. You can only take the appointment times that the therapist has available, even if it doesn’t work for you. (Mind you even if it’s virtual) My doctor had try to send out a referral the second time due to the fact that I have had no luck finding help anywhere else and he could see that I needed the help and they refused it. Left me stranded with no way to get my medication that I have been on since I was eight years old and just pretty much just said good luck. I understand that missing appointments is something that you shouldn’t do but I did call every time before hand to let them know that I would not be able to make it to that appointment. I just think it’s crazy a facility that treats mental health doesn’t understand that sometimes people go through things that caused him not to show up in my case not answer my phone. Didn’t even have the common courtesy to at least find me a different place that I can attend to just told me to call mental community health, knowing that I would not be able to get in a place for a few months because they are all backed up. I am at a loss for words considering the only reason I started seeing these people at this facility was because Dr. Dan Guyer passed away and they’re building burned down, and I had nowhere else to go. Very disappointing. Fortunately, for me I have a lot of supportive people and my Doctor Who is going to help me look for somewhere else. I just wonder how many people that they are going to do this to and how many catastrophic events can happen from just doing this to the wrong person. You never know if someone needs help or wants to self harm. You never know what mental state someone else and just cutting someone off their medication like that until they find other help is so wrong . This is literally why these people are meant to help??? I just think it was heartless the way they did it and when about it."

"I'm incredibly disappointed with this place. I've been going here for years and never really had a problem. My last therapist, Brittney, moved, so I had to find a different one through the office. I was placed with Tracey. I liked her very much and saw her about a handful of times before she called me out of nowhere to tell me she could no longer see me any more, and there's was nobody else that could. Just like that. No real explanation. Just, "Sorry, we can't see you any more and there's nobody else that can..." WHAT!? How irresponsible of an office that provides mental health care. They won't even let me see my psychiatrist any more."

"I saw Jacqueline, a therapist, for more than two years, and she was great. She's a great listener and had good feedback for me. She also has a great sense of humor, which, to me, is important in a therapist. The office ran smoothly and they sent reminder texts and phone calls before each appointment. I recommend Eastwood BH!"

"I have been going here since close to early 2020 and the first therapist I had was amazing. But as time went on I felt she got sloppy. I was only getting 15 minute sessions sometimes, but I still felt comfortable with her. She never pushed me on anything. But she left so I had to change. The new therapist clearly stated that she wanted to help and not push me, but after only THREE sessions she had actually made things worse. They attempted teaching me techniques that was stated they weren't even trained in. My last session was the last straw after being told the same information that I stated I was not comfortable with, and asking why I should even bother with a second mental health evaluation. It's my body, I can choose what I want to do with it. When I told them I had already planned on leaving the clinic as I was not comfortable with them and my psychiatrist is only available on Fridays, they argued with me for what felt like 5 minutes to stay. Instead of feeling cared for and supported, I felt the opposite. This is also not including how long it takes to contact the front desk which is an avg of 30 minutes and frequently having appointment times changed without my knowledge. I was contacted by, I believe, the coordinator about seeing a new therapist and told them I would not be returning after the poor actions Lauren had taken when working with me and how unbelievably rude she was. I just got an, "I'm sorry, some therapists and patients don't click". I'm sorry, but some of the behaviors are dangerous to patients. Especially lying about being able to get another psych eval, mildly degrading them and even verbally trying to force their patient to do something they don't want to/are too uncomfortable to do. I was doing virtual sessions as I had moved out of the area, found a new psychologist and clicked better with her better than I did with most therapists/psychologists I've ever seen, with one exception being the first therapist I saw at this location who either quit or was let go."
