"Was a guest of the District 4 GOP for a monthly meeting. Checked in with the hostess upon arrival, told her we would not be eating. She told us that "dinner was included". We questioned her and then took her word for it. When we were done with the dinner and meeting following, I by chance, returned to my table before leaving to find a bill. I was charged $54 per meal! For an average dinner. Fish and potato was very average, broccoli was good, dessert was terrible. Just drank water. Not much food. It was worth maybe $15. Environment was below average. Service staff was great. Live & learn!"
"Attended a "happy hour" -- actually 2.5 -- event on a beautiful Indian Summer early evening. Note: Not rating food category since only enjoyed wine! Service outstanding. Met some lovely new friends! A beautiful historic building downtown, originally a single family home & currently, for many years, a private club. Enjoyed a wonderful visit & looking forward to the next."
