"My daughter has been going here since she was a baby. Today I was treated with so much disrespect. I would not have brought my child to an appointment with a problem that would have made me reschedule. I am not negligent. While my daughter and I were in the room waiting to be seen I could hear the nurse and doctor talking about my daughter and I. The nurse used language that should not have been said aloud or even said in a doctor's office. I would usually keep my mouth shut but this was not okay. I walked back there and confronted the both of them. The nurse tried justifying herself. Which would have been understandable IF my child had problems. The doctor did not back me up. Instead she made no eye contact with me. I told the nurse how uncomfortable it made both my daughter and I. That's when I got an apology that did not sound honest in the slightest. I asked the doctor if that same nurse was going to be the one doing the shots and I got an answer that she was. I then told the doctor that neither myself or my daughter felt comfortable with that. My daughter was already nervous about getting shots. I requested that someone else do the shots and I was treated with even more rudeness. I wasn't being difficult at all. It should have been handled very differently. I will be looking for a different doctor for both of my children. After reading other reviews I can see that I'm not the only one who was treated so rudely. It appears that this office should be investigated. Patients should NOT be treated this way. At all. I hope my review is seen by a higher person of authority and other people looking into pediatricians in the area. Avoid this office at all costs!"

"I love this walk in clinic. The doctors and nurses are always friendly and really listen to me. On 3 occasions I’ve taken my daughter there after her pediatrician rushed through our appointments without listening. The walk in clinic diagnosed and treated her. I will always return to and recommend them."

"I have been going here the entire 23 years of my life seeing the same Doc. I took my kids here and quickly transferred them out. The Doctor has not ever taken my health issues seriously and I have had to beg them to refer me or order things through out the years. I'm young but I have health problems that were not found until years after I first told the Doctor because they chose to ignore them until my years of persistently asking for help finally paid off. I have finally decided to transfer out because the Doctor I have been seeing my whole life and the entire care team, do not care. I would never recommend SMG Ionia to anyone."
