"I have a extreme fear of needles and was terrified going in due to horrible past experiences elsewhere. When I got to the Whitehall lab, the receptionist greeted me and I told her about my fear. She tried making me comfortable by asking about my life to get my mind off of what was about to happen. Then I went to the back to the chair where they draw blood and saw my worst fear. The receptionist came back there with me and explained to the lady about my fear. They both were great distracting me while tears stream down my face. They got the needle in the first poke and were great keeping me distracted. I apologized for crying and they were really nice about it. I will definitely go back there when I have to go again."
"This place is a joke. Very short length of time opened. You have to rush to get here. You sign in and sit and wait for at least an hour just to be called by a rude staff member to register you. You have to go through every frickin detail and wait for them to dilly dally while they scan your ID, insurance cards and play 20 questions even though all the info is correct and always correct. Then you have to wait longer while they dink around eating donuts and until they are done talking to the patient that has been drawn and wants to talk to the staff lady she knows about her cats. Then they come play 20 questions again before they draw your Blood. Mercy health can shove it where the sun don't shine."
