"Honestly the food is not worth the price at all. It was very expensive for two people and the food does not taste authentic. I had the Baja California bowl for $14 and it only came with a couple of fries on top. My boyfriend had tacos and it was very dry. On a positive note the server was very sweet and made sure we had everything we needed."

"The other day was the first time I visited El Jalapeno. It was pretty good, generally speaking. The portions are quite big and filling. I ordered the birria tacos and thought they tasted quite good. The shredded beef had great flavor. They were kind of greasy though. The rice was very good. It was moist and flavorful. The beans were a little runny. Keep in mind that this place does not serve alcohol. While there was some cool art work on the wall, the place wasn't really decorated and seemed a little bare. There was a foosball table there though. Overall, the food here is good and worth trying. It's probably best for carryout though. The portions are also quite large and priced appropriately."

"Heard about this through word of mouth. After hearing about it Google did its magic and suggested it for lunch today. Upon entering you can tell the building was recently renovated with painted walls, new drop ceiling, and new floors. The menus were massive and looked very impressive in their leather binding. I ordered the 3 taco dinner for lunch and a side of the hot sauce. I have to say this was the first hot sauce that actually was hot! I highly recommend getting the hot sauce if you're a fan of spicy. Staff was friendly and prompt on serving our table during lunch. Overall a strong 8/10 experience."
