"This place used to be my favorite when Gil was working there. He always did an amazing job staying on top of everything and making sure all the food looked as it should before even coming to the table. When he first was gone felt like the place lost its touch but after the last visit the waitress did a good job and they finally did some decorating again which is always a cool part of the visit. Still wish Gil was working there but none the less food and service is usually pretty good."
"The place had a good vibe and our waiter was amazing, very nice and helpful in explaining the menu. That’s where the praise stops though. My wife and I waited 30mins for our food (a torta and a combo plate) only to be told that the cook hadn’t even started our order! Mind you, there were 4 other couples max in this establishment at this time and around 10pm at night, not exactly peak business hours. It was our first time at this establishment and it was a terrible representation. The manager did offer to comp 10% off the bill, however, after waiting 45min and still no food, we decided to depart without having our meal. There’s too much competition with regards to Mexican food downriver to operate this poorly. Considering the ratings, expected so much more."

"Absolutely delicious!! One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Michigan! I mostly order the combination 7a, because of the selection. Tostadas are the best!! Chips are very good, but the salsa is more of a sauce, but still yummy!! Small and cozy, fast and friendly service."
"So this place is definitely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants around town. I'm a couple of the major holidays Halloween and Christmas. They decorate almost 100% of the space on the walls and ceiling. Definitely something to see. We went during the Halloween of 2022 and they did not do it because of staff but check back for Christmas and later. I'm sure they'll be back to doing it again. Anyway, long story short definitely a great Mexican restaurant will be back as we have been several times"
