"Been coming here occasionally for years. Have noticed a decline in service similar to other recent reviewers. I'm not about to give a 1 star, but it's clear that something has changed and management needs to address it. I've been coming here daily for the last month because of the "sip-cup" promotion, and half the time the coffee carafes are empty, and I have to wait ~5 minutes to get someone's attention to refill them. Most of the employees seemed to be "low energy" individuals; sure I get that good workers are hard to find, but some more effort may be required to maintaining a sense of morale here. So after my frustration with the frequently empty carafe issue, I decided to use the drive-thru instead thinking that would be faster way to get a cup of coffee, but is often extremely slow. When this sip-cup promotion is over I don't see any reason to pay for the subscription since it would be faster and much cheaper to brew my own coffee at the office. $2.89 for a cup of stale coffee from a carafe is unjustifiable."

"UPDATE: Now they no longer allow you to get your own drink cup when ordering at the kiosk. You need to get a cup from someone at the counter. So after ordering at the kiosk, I now have to stand in another line to get my drink cup. Why even have the option of self checkout when I can no longer just grab a cup and go. Ridiculous. Not worth the wait or price. I usually get the same breakfast item at this location and it's either hit or miss on the quality of how it's made. Lately, it's been more miss. My main gripe with this location is how filthy it is. I always have to use their cleaning wipes to clean and disinfect my table and chairs because there are no available clean tables. This is during the slow morning hours too, when the staff is not overly busy. The wooden fixtures and walls are absolutely disgusting and it's clear they are never given even a cursory wipe down, nevermind a deep clean. It's just not a pleasant experience to eat in such a dirty environment. This location used to be kept up, yet it has gone severely downhill in the past several years."

"Every week, my family and I would come to this location, a tradition that has come to an end after today’s visit. As I walked in with my family, one particular employee caught my attention, a blonde woman with such disdain towards other staff as well as the job itself. This woman had the need to display any form of inadequacies to the public, by blindly screaming at staff as we attempted to place such a simple order. She left us feeling a sense of sympathy for the staff, as well as, plain uncomfortable. She would constantly roll her eyes when it came to trivial matters which honestly struck us as odd. My dining experience had the opportunity to be pleasant, and yet met the same fate as my ordering experience. Nothing but chaos spilling out from the kitchen, and again that one particular employee stood out. I truly believe her screeching voice will terrorize my nightmares as well. I honestly was at my wit’s end, and so I finally asked a worker up front for her name, the woman who has ruined my day, unknowingly he gave me the name of this horrific woman. Emily. As I made some inquiries on my order at the counter, she responded so rudely as if I weren’t a PAYING CUSTOMER. It was an issue I was willing to look past, until finally, delivering the final blow, she put her head down and continued to roll her eyes, yet again. Once my order had been complete, the obnoxious woman, Emily, slammed my order down onto the counter leaving everything disoriented. I was ready to drink my soup, to discover a long strand of hair, blonde. I just could not seem to escape this dreadful woman. We were treated as if we were nothing but dirt, an inconvenience. I will never again be setting foot in such an establishment like this. And I would simply advice others to follow suit."

"Panera is consistently the same no matter which one you go to. The food is good. What is inconsistent would be the service and attitude of the staff. That one employee who doesn't really like his or her job, that blankly stares off to the middle distance as you order that makes you wonder if they even heard you. Then tossed your order at you and goes on to the next task in the same manner. Now I, for one, understand that you can have an off day and that people can be difficult to deal with. So I really try to be pleasant to others and especially nice to people working in the service industry. I'm not sure if the attitude we received is because we were in Detroit, but the overall mood and flow of the staff at this location wasn't top-notch like other locations in different states that I have visited. This place had a bad vibe, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and think this was just a one-off event. My issue was that I pre ordered a dozen bagels an hour before I arrived, and it took almost two hours waiting in the store to get them. I received every excuse that they can make from " making them to order" and " it takes time to make bagels" to " we serve people in the order we receive the order" which I stated " but I ordered three hours ago" to which the employee came back with my dozen " made fresh" cold bagels. I believe the wait was excessive, the attitude was very poor. You shouldn't treat people like that. If you make a mistake and lose or forget an order, SAY SO and make it right by prioritizing it and get it done as quickly as possible rather than make excuses."

"Teriyaki chicken brociili bowl was almost empty, mostly sauce. Side of fruit was replaced with a bag of chips. I've been to many panera breads, and this location needs some restructuring. Spent 46 in food and gave 20 percent tip for poor service."
