"I have had a golf outing in Kalamazoo for 40 years. For a variety of reasons, I had to change our Friday night bar and was really not sure where to go. What compounds the problem is that I live in Nashville and am planning an event over 8 hours away. I needed a place close to our hotel so the guys wouldn’t have to drive. I just sort of stumbled on Old Burdick’s at Wings West. I worked with the manager Joel and general manager Mark via phone calls and email. They were very good about getting back to me quickly. This year I had just under 70 men straggling in throughout the night and based on prior experiences with other bars wasn’t sure if Old Burdick’s at Wings West could handle it. Other bars never had enough wait staff or bartenders and the pandemic made things even worse. Not only did Burdick's handle it, they surpassed my highest expectations! They had wait staff dedicated to my group, plenty of bartenders and the food kept coming all night, fast and hot. There were plenty of food options and everything I had was great. I heard plenty of comments from my group about how they enjoyed the food as well. Emily and Alyssa did an incredible job of getting my group everything they needed. Joel and Mark had us all set up with extra games and such to keep the guys entertained. The guys all loved the bar and the location. I’m already looking forward to next year and going back. They did an absolutely fantastic job! Thank you so much for making this year’s event such a success!!!!!!! If you need to plan a group event look no further than Old Burdick's at Wing's West!"
