"I have to recommend this place to all of you. Looking for good food, good service, and good atmosphere. It's nice to see the waitress's interact with the customers. In a kind and courteous way you just don't see it any more. Lindsey and Sara will take good care of you."

"I have been going here for about 6 years I always get the fresh corned beef hash and eggs. It’s absolutely delicious it’s not from the can. Today I got home with my regular to go and for my friend. It did not have onions or seasoning just by looking at it I knew it wasn’t right. First time I wasn’t satisfied with the order. I took the food and called them they apologized and said they’d have a new order for me when I got there. I was really impressed with the cooks customer service. He apologized again and made sure I knew that they were about having happy customers. He even said I could take the old food if i wanted because they were just going to throw it away. He didn’t hassle me or make me feel like I was the one that messed up he handled the situation perfect. If he didn’t I wouldn’t of been back. I used to work In food service for years In the kitchen and even as waitress. I know what good service is supposed to be behind the kitchen and in the front. I just looked at the bad reviews for this place. In uncle Ernie’s defense if you have a problem with your food and aren’t satisfied don’t be passive and just write a bad review. If you tell them your arnt satisfied…unlike like some resturants uncle Ernie’s will make it right."

"If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. This is such an amazing small business with amazing food and a GREAT atmosphere. Staff was very attentive and knowledgeable and even though this was my first time here, I felt like a member of their family. Biscuits and gravy were some of the best I've ever had and the Southern omelet was incredibly filling and very well-priced. I'll be frequenting this place every time I'm in Kalamazoo"

"I want to Uncle Ernie’s pancake house this morning and I ordered a Denver omelette to go when they brought me my bag it felt like air. I just spent $10 and there’s probably two dollars worth of food. I’m very upset and I will never go there again I cannot believe how expensive they are for the portion size you get I thought I was gonna have a nice breakfast at work and I am going to be starving in a hour. This is absolutely the thinnest omelette I have ever had. They ought to be ashamed of their selves.Fool me once shame on you, they won’t get a chance to fool me twice."
