"Day care starts at 7:30 am. Then another one at 8:30 am… I work long days and late nights and get woken up by screams and what sounds like an amusement park in my backyard no matter how much you try to drown it out, it is soooo loud….. I understand it’s a day care but it is not right to have kids out there that early screaming and waking up people who live in the residence….10 steps away. There is no courtesy for us at all. I have tried to call and not leave any nasty messages online but I honestly I hate mornings because of how I get woken up and I have to say and do something. The day care workers do nothing to stop some of the youth from screaming like crazy and there should be more than one caretaker out there at all times. Please reconsider moving your recess back so some of us can sleep past 7:30am!"
"Great teachers, kids are allowed to “be kids” in a super loving environment. It has been voted the best childcare center in Goshen and all of Elkhart County. Couldn’t be happier having my child attend Walnut Hill."
"My child was being physically abused at their day care and they would not do anything about it. My child would come home with very large bruises and cuts and complain about being hit and even choked by another child. This was brought to the attention of the teachers and the directors and no one cared to do anything. No one should have to feel that their child is unsafe when leaving them at a daycare. I do not recommend this business to anyone. I hope they fix their very broken system of how to deal with violence/negligence. Edit 5/26/21 after owner response: I do not have my full name displayed on this platform by personal choice. But my situation was very real and I have proof. I was dismissed over and over when I brought this to the teachers and director’s attention. The fact that you took 8 months to respond to my review speaks volumes."
"My daughter absolutely LOVES to go to "school" here. We switched from Growing Kids, where she would beg me not to leave her, and I felt that the kids were left to fend for themselves. This has been such a great change. She is really thriving here! She doesn't mind when I drop her off, she gets right to playing with the other children. It's great for both of us!"
"This used to be the best center in town and has just gone down hill to the point that the center is not safe for the children on top of the lack of learning."
