"I'm sure they over charged me but I had already left. Was there one other time and the customer service person told me how to get a better deal. These people didn't know what they were doing themselves let alone trying to help a customer. Same place just different age and probably no supervision there either . I went through drive through and ordered one piece of fish and a full hush puppy order(2?). I think more ... Then paid more and got only 4. I think a full order is at least 6."
"I don't usually write bad reviews based on 1 visit, but this place is downright disgusting. The smell of burnt grease filled my nose as I walked in. I stood at the counter waiting for my pre-ordered food to finish cooking. I could see an employee at the fryer tending to the fried food. The smoke from the fryer oil rose to the ceiling and dispersed into the restaurant. The smell was rancid. I received my order in a reasonable amount of time and went home with my food. The smell from the food made my cat turn his nose up when I walked in the door. I opened the box of fish, chicken and shrimp. They all had a dark color crust which was not like crust I had from other LJS. The food was hot which was a plus. I took a bite of a shrimp and frowned at the flavor. Then I tried the fish. The flavor of the nasty grease infused the fish. It was awful! I couldn't eat my $18.00 meal. I didn't eat the cole slaw or corn because I was scared. The health department needs to visit this restaurant because the food is rancid and may be detrimental to our health. Not to mention what that nasty environment is doing to the employees health and lungs. I will NEVER go back to this restaurant and I advise you to heed my warning. YUCK!!"
"Having a day out with family. Highly recommend. Wish they would open one in Hastings. Long John's / A&D, we could really use it. Best Long John's Silvers around. We had a variety of foods from fish and chicken to shrimp and hush puppies. The fish was crispy and flackey."
"Drove to the drive through first but it took to long for someone to take our order so we went inside. The staff seemed very busy and maybe understaffed ... It took a few minutes before we were acknowledged however, once we were addressed things fell into place. Staff were great and attentive. Food was delivered to our table nice and hot."
