"Ida's is a wonderful establishment! The environment is cozy, comfortable & clean. The staff are friendly, cheerful and pleasant. Even when a medical emergency took place, the staff continued to care for their other customers. We arrived 30 minutes before closing and the food was still freshly made with reasonable proportions and delicious!"

"Saugatuck is pretty deserted in January. My sister and I were craving a nice breakfast on our way back home, and Ida’s was one of the only spots open. Big sis ordered French toast, easy over eggs and sourdough toast. I ordered the Athena scrambler with rye toast. One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a while. Amazing service. High quality ingredients. Big sis said it was the best French toast she’d ever eaten! Highly recommend."

"LOVED the ambience of this place. Food was beyond fabulous as well. The wind was blowing, flowers fluttering, lush green grass all around, was an amazing experience to eat here. So happy we got a chance."

"Solid execution on breakfast. Pancakes and eggs were perfect (2 by 2). Wonderfully blasted eggs. Good jam selection, which I prefer to syrup on pancakes. Fruit cup was mostly good fresh fruit including pear and peach (better than just pineapple and melon!), but a single moldy piece not discovered until in the mouth keeps the rating from being 5 for food. We do like the place and will return"

"Get here early because they fill up fast. This place is delicious and a must every time we come to Saugatuck. Griddle cakes are a bit different than a pancake and a must try. The fruit cup is always full of a variety of fruits, not just melons. Do yourself a favor and get a muffin too, you won't regret it!"
