Kroger Pharmacy

"All new machines in self check out. Halfway through checkout, the machine stopped scanning. Help came and was unable to get scanner operational. After 15 minutes of trying I left. Also, I bring my own bag...there used to be a shelf to put it on while scanning. Not anymore. Shelves are gone. I do not want to use plastic. So how do I put items in my in bag without scanner stopping and saying "please scan all items before placing in bag""

"The pharmacist and technicians at this Kroger are always friendly, so I want the star rating to reflect that. I know they are understaffed and overworked - they are doing the best they can. The second part of my review is not for the pharmacy itself, it’s for the horrible, no good algorithm Kroger uses. The whole backend of the system is broken. I’ve had too many problems with getting my refills. After I call to disassociate doctors from my account, yet they still remain connected to my medications is baffling to me. I try to do as much as I can online so I don’t have to bug the pharmacy techs with my refill probs, but there isn’t much I can do within the app regarding the repeated issues I face with getting refills from my actual doctor (and not doctors I’ve seen in the past). Kroger, if you are reading this, please get some competent managers, developers, and UX designers to reconfigure the pharmacy stuff."

"I used to have this pharmacy as a 5 star rating but I'm changing it to 1 star and won't be returning. When you're dealing with people's medication, there's not a large margin for error. I was told by one employee they'd have my medication ready to go before I left for vacation. I called after the time they said the medication would be ready and they said they didn't know who I was and didn't have any prescription for me. The lady clearly didn't care about the mess up but said she'd "do her best" to get it filled in time. She called back 5 minutes later because she forgot they didn't even have the medication in stock. Now I have to scramble around to figure out what I'm going to do. Thanks for the absolutely awful customer service."

"I very much appreciate this pharmacy. The Pharmacist and all of the assistants do a phenomenal job of making my experience very pleasant. They are very quick with their service and remember me every time I go in. When my insurance wouldn’t cover a prescription, this team did everything they could to find a cheaper solution. They helped me to take my prescription from $25/month to $8/month. I have been going to this pharmacy for 4 years, and even after having moved to another area (with a different pharmacy closer) I still prefer to go to them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great pharmacy with excellent employees!"

"Rick Phillips, Managing Pharmacist has created an excellent team. They all provide great service. He cannot control the substitute pharmacists who fill in for him while he is out on medical leave. While he and his staff always maintain a positive attitude. Substitute Pharmacist Ashely today was quite rude, blaming me for not her not having handled a Dr's called in prescription correctly (lost it) and continued to be rude as we attempted to rectify the situation. It is not necessary, or acceptable for a pharmacist, who is supposed to be available to counsel patients regarding prescriptions to start out being rude. I had called my Dr. He asked that I let him speak to the Pharmacist. She refused to speak to him, saying he had to call back through the call center. She didn't offer to call him back. She snapped at me, as if the very thought of handing her the phone was rude on my part. She was afraid of speaking with the Dr., (with good reason, as he was not happy about her losing his previously called in information) and she took it out on the customer. Zero stars for Ashely. Update: Ashley is gone, Rick is back, and all is right with GlenWood Crossings Kroger Pharmacy on Springfield Pike."
