"Very poor delivery service and communication but the flowers were pretty. Driver/store did not contact us when flowers were delivered. I live out of state and ordered them as a gift for a friend who had surgery (which I informed the florist). I provided 2 contact numbers and was told I’d be provided a photo by email. I only received an email confirming delivery the next morning, and it was missing the photo. Flowers were left downstairs of the apartment without any notice to the customer. When I called the store, Jen informed me that the flowers were delivered at 2 (despite me calling at 3:18 asking for an update since flowers were not received). I feel confused with the inaccurate timeline, frustrated with the lack of communication, and minimal efforts from the team to remedy this issue. Overall my friend got the flowers 7 hours later. Please be weary if choosing delivery (costs +$12 extra too)"
"I received a plant from 12th Street Florist as a gift. The moment I received the plant from the delivery driver, the fresh flowers they inserted were drooped over. I can't explain how disappointed I am to receive flowers in this condition. After posting my initial review, I received a call from the shop, which I appreciate that I was contacted and explained how to care for the plant going forward. I was told that the plant I received is out of season. Although I appreciate the details, I don’t think a flower shop should be selling out of season plants (see third photo of only the plant without fresh flowers inserted). The person who gifted me the plant doesn’t know anything about flowers/plants and went based on the picture on the website, which is nothing like what I received. Purchasing from a flower shop I’d expect to receive something similar to what the photo on the website shows. I am hoping when I plant the azalea this spring it looks much nicer."
