He was very nice and definitely will work with you to get you as close to what you need as possible with in value of your product of course but very reasonable. Definitely my shop of choice now since I just recently moved to the area."

"Due to fairly severe and persistent medical issues, coupled with frequent hospitalizations/ICU visits; It has become extremely difficult for me to maintain employment and stable income over the past 12 months! Sadly, this is lead to financial troubles unlike I've ever experienced in my entire life! When an untimely emergency arose a few days ago, I was fortunate enough to stop by Hilltop Pawn Shop for the first time! After living in Columbus my entire 30 years of life and having done business with various pawn shops around the city, I can definitely say that without it out this was definitely the best experience I've ever had at any of them!!! I brought in my Les Paul guitar and Fender amp (both being fairly pricey items) to pawn since I just started a new job but not yet received my first pay check, and because they both have sentimental value, I was not willing to part with them. Not only did I receive almost every dollar I had come and asking for (minus $10), they didn't charge me ridiculous and outrageous interest charges and fees which I had fear going in there knowing I would be returning for my items! MR. RALPH made my experience so one of a kind and worthwhile! Fortunately, he's a guitar player, so he had actual knowledge about the items I had brought in. I ended up spending a good half hour there talking to Mr Ralph and another patron (who clearly was a regular) and listen to Mr Ralph play a couple songs with my guitar and amp(had to make sure it was in good condition)! Seen as this was my first and only visit to establishment, I cannot personally attest two that's positive of an experience being the average experience, but I can say that it has definitely iron I repeat business! I will update this review after I return and after I reclaim my item I set my home but based off of my first experience here I feel comfortable saying that if you are planning on doing business with a pawn shop in Columbus that it is most definitely worth stopping by the Hilltop Pawn Shop and giving them a try! ⟨I feel inclined to reiterate What an absolute blessing MR. RALPH was!⟩"

"Called on a Sunday to see if they were interested in buying a big craftsman rolling tool box. Guy asked how much I said I’d like to get $500 (box is only 2 years old and was over $1500 new). Guy rudely interrupted and stated that it’s a Sunday and the banks are closed and there was no way I was getting $500 for it. First of all your a pawn shop you should $500 cash on hand, secondly you never heard details about the box to know what it would be worth."

"I've been going here for years and they have always treated me fair and they are amazing people. I went in yesterday and I always deal with Ralph and he always has me laughing and smiling. Yesterday he made my whole day since I've been a loyal customer I was given a speedway gift card. I really appreciate them and all they do for their customers!!!!"
