"Highly recommend! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable, especially on plants. Free parking is right outside the front door. Woods is my favorite hardware and plant shop in town. I've been going there for years! They've guided me through plumbing emergencies, rescued me when I locked myself out of the house, counseled me on home projects and (most recently) saved my house plants. Angie expertly helped me diagnose my sickly plant, repotted it and gave me practical advice on how to help my other plants thrive. She also helped me find pet-friendly and hardy plants to help cheer up my dreary cold windowsill. Other reviews mentioned slightly higher prices than the big box stores. However, I've found most prices to be comparable or different by only a couple dollars at most. The plants are a great deal - with lots of variety and often much cheaper than the other shops in town."
"Car was broken into overnight in the garage and there was glass everywhere and I had no window. I needed a tarp and duct tape to get home since it was snowing and very cold. Woods was around the corner. Went in teary eyed, the employees were very helpful and understanding. I was quickly taken to what I needed, got a hug, and sent on my way with well wishes. Great place!"
"good help, friendly, more expensive than Lowes or home depot but if you need something small or quickly or you don't have a vehicle they ate the perfect choice for any diy project just about and conveniently located downtown. surprisingly almost deceptively bigger than you would ever guess"
"I love this store. Amazingly well stocked with all the usual hardware stuff, plus useful household items and pet supplies. My favorite part - the garden section. They have a great selection of tropical and seasonal plants, as well as tools, soil, and containers. Angie and the rest of the staff will always take good care of you."
