"Called 3 other harbor freight’s and they said it wouldn’t be a problem so this issue is special to this location and I don’t want all harbor freight’s to take their shame. Most locations are great. Sometimes this place is nice, most of the time the people at the register are aggressive or abrasive. Went to return an item and no hello, just angry looks and no communication when I tried to make light talk. I asked to do the return and with excessive attitude was told they didn’t have the cash to accept the return and would have to do card, but I paid cash….I should be able to return an item. They said they just didn’t have the money this early in the morning.I asked if she could just go into the back and get more money because they should have had enough in the till from when they did the registers this morning. The return was for 360 bucks total, not a lot compared to standard tools they sell there…she said no she can’t do that after rolling her eyes. Only reason I asked is because they have done this before. I said “I understand you’re just the messenger and it’s not your fault “ and was then told to not be rude and talked over?? I was trying to lighten the situation. I said I’m sorry do you not know what that means? To which the reply was “I am an employee not a messenger” and repeatedly talked over. I ended up leaving the store without an answer as to how many days it might take to get the money in my card. I asked a time I could come back to get it and they said sometime tomorrow or later this afternoon. What a joke."
"One of my portable garages roof ripped. I needed a 12x20 super heavy duty tarp. They had a great deal for 45 bucks, but were sold out. An employee searched the backstock and found a box of them. Saving my day."
