"I brought my pc in and it was blue screening. 250 dollars later I have a new cpu fan and it’s still blue screening. I called to ask about my options and to possibly bring it back in. I wasn’t asked to bring it back in simply told it could be this or that. Not a great experience."

"Visiting from Fla. computer froze up. They took a look in the morning and had it repaired that afternoon. Price was as quoted. Nice people and cute cat."

"Price gouging opportunists with poor customer service and I will not return. Save your money and go to someone you trust. While my daughter was quarantined, the screen of my brand new work laptop became irreparably scrambled. My husband took it right away to The Nerd Patrol. He had to pay $86.24 up front for the labor and was told the new screen had to be ordered from their supplier but would not cost more than $100. He was told that they could order the screen from Amazon, which would be faster, but probably more expensive. My husband said yes, please order the screen from Amazon as we wanted the work done as soon possible. He was told they were obligated to go through their supplier first. Fine. He was told the repair could be done in 7-10 days. Afterward, we looked up the brand new screen on Amazon. It was available for $60. Two weeks went by without a word from The Nerd Patrol. Finally my husband called to ask about my laptop. He was told it had been done "for some time". When he asked why we were never contacted, he was told that they "must have written down the wrong phone number". Even if I believed that, my receipt indicates that his name and address were correct, and we have a listed phone number. 15 seconds on Google would have led these computer experts right to a number to contact us if they had wanted to. Then my husband asked how much the repair would cost. $120.74. Minus the $86.24 initial payment, right? No, in addition to the $86.24. No attempt was made to call us when the repair cost more than the price originally quoted. $206.98 to replace a screen that should not have cost more than $60 and required an hour's worth of labor, plus the added inconvenience of being without my work device for weeks and having to chase them down when it had been done "for some time". Never again, Nerd Patrol."

"Overall good experience. They did what needed to get done even though my computer issue was on the more complex side. The turnaround time for my computer was a little over 2 weeks, which was frustrating, but they had to order a new part and covid delayed that most likely. The reason I can't give 5 stars is because their communications with customers seemed poor. I had to be the one constantly calling them when 9 days pass and I get no updates or price estimates. Overall good experience, the communication just could be better."

"We needed about 25 IP based security cameras installed at one of our remote sites in Cincinnati within a short time period. Nerd patrol quoted, came out, rented a scissor lift and got the wiring ran/cameras installed in two days! They stick to their promises and have an awesome team of people to work with."
