"A man named Ryan who identified himself over the phone as the manager was so disrespectful over the phone I would never go there again. Hard to believe an alleged manager could be so rude and disrespectful and condescending. The employees in the location were also very disrespectful to my husband as well. We had originally had a reservation but they said it was cancelled! We have been customers nationwide of Enterprise Rental for over 25 years. This was to be our first time in Lima, Ohio though. Wont happen ever again. I did call the corporate office and am waiting for a return call from the DM. If you're looking for a pleasant and respectful experience, I understand there is a Budget Rental out here. That's where I will check next... I did get a response from someone named Chris who asked for my contact info. I sent him an email as requested. Still awaiting his response. I think he is from the Corporate office. I truly hope so... Will update with the progress. Second Update After emailing Chris yesterday I really did expect a response, at least an acknowledgement. So far, nothing... UPDATE 9/6/23 - - I just called the location since Chris never responded. The guy on the phone could care less. Rude, snitty, the whole nine yards. I'm thinking Enterprise is simply not the same customer service oriented business as they used to be. Never will I ever use this location again. I guess they're just different in other states..."

"Was given a Nissan Armada, drove it to Tennessee. On the way home the transmission blew and was narrowly avoided an accident on I-75N. Waited on the side of the highway for over an hour for a tow truck. Paid out of pocket for a taxi to the nearest Enterprise, as well as out of pocket for the tow truck to bring our belongings to the Enterprise. We were given a smaller vehicle and had to leave some of our belongings in a dumpster! Enterprise in Lima, OH called a week later to close out our contract and bill us IN FULL. I told them absolutely not. I wanted the bill cleared completely as we were left stranded on the side of I-75N with four children in the car, and then paid out of pocket to get to the next place, and then had to leave our stuff behind because a larger vehicle wasn’t available. The manager at the Lima office told me he completely understood and would have his area manager contact me personally. Did that happen??? NO. Instead I find the FULL CHARGE on my credit card. Completely unacceptable. We lost about $300 of our own personal money on top of the serious safety issues of this vehicle!! Never never never use the Lima office or #Enterprise"

"So it's normal for the outside of the vehicle to be "dirty" & we did inspect for damage but why the inside? When I called to inquire, they said they don't "detail" and offered for me to bring it back to them to clean, I am a 40 minute drive away. She accused me of not being it up during pickup, which honestly was because we were too busy in conversation about my CCW, what buttons did and didn't do, and our mutual liking of stuff. My last rental wasn't like this! When I returned the vehicle and you asked me how it went and I told you, you then accosted me in front of the entire lobby full of people. Although you are the only rental company I am aware of near me, I will be searching for another so that I do not have to encounter this type of situation again."
