"Quiet, serene and beautiful in all seasons. Pet friendly, well kept. Could use a restroom upgrade from the pit situation to modern flush facilities or bio-type waterless maybe. Still could utilize a way to wash hands. Perhaps a few simple things for children to play on during a family picnic."

"Very nice place. Graveyard with graves from 1812. Trails to walk with a bridge across the river to the location of the fort."

"What a nice little park to visit. It has a nice trail with plaques giving the history of the park. We followed the trail through the park, cemetery of soldiers from the War of 1812, across the bridge, & to the monument. It was very well kept & interesting to learn about. We'll be back if we get a chance so we can walk more of the trails. Would definitely recommend you visit if you've got a nice day with nothing to do."

"Nice park with grills and tables to sit and eat at. Had a bathroom there. Also had a pavilion to sit in. The pathway gave you a historical story to go with the area there. The grounds were well kept."
