"Thank you Benjamin Faurot, You died penniless although you were flush with good karma for leaving us this land to enjoy as a public park. Great place to walk the dog, chill with your lover, drop a line in one of the ponds, watch the kiddo's play softball or just swing-run-sing in the playground. Oh yeah, rent a covered picnic area with power and plenty of room to move. Go D.J.! Wonderful city park, one of the jewels of Lima, of which there aren't many (LOL), facts. Also has summer concerts and is a fantastic place to view the Fourth of July's firework show."
"I like going to Faurot Park to sit in my truck n eat or just sit n look at the pond, I think it's so relaxing. About 4 years ago I would go to the splash pad n sit on the iron bench n cool down especially in hot weather. My boyfriend at the time would run around with the children n show them how to aim the water at me. Those were good days."

"Some of the nicest playground equipment I've seen in a park. (Middle entrance) Even a workout area in it. Smaller play area in "1st entrance ". A small splash pad area for kids. Watch for busy times. Clean and well-kept. The parents I encountered are good people and monitored their kids' behaviors well. Multiple restroom facilities throughout the different areas. A heads up, bring drinks for the kids. There are no water fountains that I seen."
"We're seriously impressed with the amazing job they did remodeling this park. We've been coming here for decades so we loved it here anyway. But, with this complete redesign, so may generations will continue to be able to enjoy it. The new style of playground equipment is top notch and super, super neat. I've never seen anything like it! There's even an enormous contraption that's supposed to be specially for adults which is super crazy too! Everything about the layout and design of this playground has been altered and improved. We appreciate the time, effort and money that was put in the project. Thank you Lima!"
