"Nic went to work immediately after arrival and completed the work in a timely manner. I am adding one comment about Sears Appliance Repair generally; the number of reminders and confirmations in advance of the service is overwhelming. In spite of the constant communication, no contact information is provided. An Internet search wasn't successful in finding a telephone number either."

"Had an appointment for 12/15 from 8 to 5pm. The technician didn’t show up and then lied and said they came and missed us at 5:44pm. We were home the whole time and they didn’t show up. They didn’t call or anything. It said my technician’s name was Sean who supposedly had 5 stars. I called the 800 number and they said they would leave a message for the technician to call me. They didn’t call me (big surprise). I called back later the same night and asked them to have the technician come the next morning and they left him that message. The next day, they had automatically rescheduled the appointment for 12/22 a week later! This is unacceptable! No call and no show? I thought Sears was a reputable company."

"The technician was horrible. I requested service for an ice maker not dispensing ice, the technician didn’t run any type of diagnostic test, I had to point out to the tech where the ice maker was located. I requested another tech to come out and they indicated that I would be charged another diagnostic fee of 129 dollars. I wasn’t about to let a company replace the ice maker at 650 dollars when they didn’t appear to be competent. So I basically paid sears 129 dollars for a tech to come out and stick his hand behind the ice maker and tell me something that I already knew!!!!!!! Here is an update. I went and googled how to fix ice maker, google searches recommended doing a reset of system, once I did a reset after about six hours unit started producing ice. Sears wanted to charge me over 650 dollars to replace the ice maker. I will be making a complaint to the Ohio attorney General."
