"Worst experience. I bought speakers here for my wife’s car for her birthday and the website said they fit. I confirmed with the associate that they fit, He said they did. Another associate talks me into total tech to cover the install. I pay and schedule, coordinate with my job to get the day off but then my appointment gets canceled, Only appointment before my wife’s birthday is in Cincinnati, I get the day off and then that appointment gets canceled too, they find me an appointment in Columbus. I go but they say they can’t do the install because they need adapters. I order them and reschedule here in Fairborn where I got the speakers in the first place, then I show up today and they say they dont fit even with adapter plates. I go to return everything (except the adapter plates which i had to order elsewhere at the direction of the tech at Best Buy in Columbus) and there’s some fine print somewhere so I don’t even get all my money back for total tech.. So this costs me 3 days off of work, premium gas to Columbus and back, the cost of the adapters, and I don’t have anything to show for it. I don’t even get a full refund. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER ITEM FROM BEST BUY."

"The plans for TVs seems pointless. I'm thinking a call center out of the United States answers there calls. They tried to charge me $100 to have someone come out to my house to look at my TV plus an additional service charge. So I exited chat as best buy employees have told me the plan includes all that at no additional cost. I call the store number press 3 for geek squad and remained on hold listening to music for 26 minutes before I hung. If you buy a plan for a high cost piece of electronics I honestly believe it is pointless, because who's going to help you??"

"I was in to have a rear camera and screen installed yesterday and the lousy experience started right at the beginning when I pulled up at around 11:15, walked up to the customer entrance door and it was locked. The door said opened at 10a so I knocked on the door several times before getting back into my car and going into the main part of the Best Buy store to find someone to help me. After standing in the customer service line for several minutes I got someone to radio the service center and get them to answer the door. The excuse that was given to me was that they had the music playing so loudly that they couldn't hear my knocks and that the door was now opened for me to come in. The gentleman I talked to was polite and took my contact info down and I remembered the initial email after scheduling saying that the service would take roughly 1.5 hours. That would be amazing, but I knew it would not take that long so before leaving I asked for a more realistic time to expect and was told the service would be done by 4:30-5p. I was happy with that time. I left and returned a little after 6:00p assuming that the vehicle was complete or was close to being complete and another gentleman came and informed me that there was a small problem with a wire and that he just needed another 30-45 minutes before he was done so I wasted some more time inside the Best Buy store waiting for a call saying that my vehicle was done and it never came. Went back to see if my car was done after about an hour and it was not so went to find something to eat in the area and got a call at 8:30 informing me that they finally got me finished. When picking up my car I asked if everything was ok and was told that there were issues that took extra time unfortunately. I understand running into a problem that causes things to take more time, but what I do not understand is why neither time I was given a call and updated as to what was going on with my car and that it was taking a little longer than expected. Very poor customer service. To make things worse, after spending a full day on my car, the install wasn't even done correctly and the image that shows on the screen is flipped, so I have to take the vehicle back for God knows how long to get it working right! I'm beyond frustrated with the service and communication of this company."
