"So went shopping here after work one day. Some young, tall, very slender man with brown hair, who I think was the manager on duty, was called down to a register by a woman who asked if he wouldn't mind finding out if they had some creamer. He acted rude and annoyed. He came back after ("looking") and said no. The woman had quite a cart full of groceries and was having trouble with the credit card system. He yells out loud enough for the entire store to hear, "OH ITS FOOD STAMPS!! YOU HAVE TO PUNCH IN FOOD STAMPS!" She looked mortified. They finished her order, and she paid. Then the rest of the amount needed to be paid, and as she dug out her bank card He yelled out again, "IS IT FOOD STAMPS?" She looked up and said, "NO! IT'S CASH! FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT WHERE I GET PAID FOR WORKING YA KNOW?!! I guarantee she won't ever go there again and I won't either after seeing how awful he was to this lady. I even called the store to let them know how he treated this woman but nobody answered. Shameful when a young woman has to make a middle aged lady feel like she is ashamed and degraded for getting help, and he doesn't even know if it was her groceries. She could have been doing it for an elderly lady or had kids. Shameful behavior, and I hope he gets fired and has to rely on foodstamps. Learn a little humility. Terrible. Just terrible."
"First time shopper here. It is like the small grocery stores of my youth. I like shopping a smaller store. You will find all the basics and can access the store quickly get what you want, and you are on your way. Will be going back."
"A couple of weeks ago, I went to buy a lottery ticket, the older lady behind the counter, turned to me and said it's my lunch break and walked off. Yup, great customer service. Truly outstanding, i wouldn't have expected anything less. Yup, stood there for over 5 minutes before i was helped. Thank you for the wonderful customer service!!!"
"Prices certainly haven't caught up with the big competition yet. Customer service is great and never seen an employee who didnt smile back. Never long at the checkout and if they were closer to home, I'd shop there exclusively"
"A great place to shop. Lots of variety for a smaller, convenient grocery store. The deli provides several homemade items & top shelf meats. The butcher(s) cater to your special cut needs & they often offer quality meats at discounted prices. They also offer a discount on Wednesday for seniors. Nice, friendly staff. I shop here often & recommend it."
