Welcome to Riverside Hideout, a unique lodging experience located at 2312 Froman Hill Road in Dover, Ohio, United States. Our Hideouts are thoughtfully constructed Shipping Container homes and Vintage Tiny Motorhomes tucked into the woods and hills near the Tuscarawas River, offering a perfect blend of recreation and relaxation.
Central to many great trails for biking and hiking, Riverside Hideout is also conveniently located across the street from the Dover Dam and the Mighty Tuscarawas River. Guests can enjoy paddling or kayaking at Atwood Lake, which is just a short distance away. Within 15 minutes, visitors can explore The Pro Football Hall of Fame Village, The Canton Art Museum, and the Downtown Arts District. Amish country is also within a quick 20-minute drive.
Our accommodations include a shipping container tiny home handcrafted by a family of entrepreneurs and craftsmen, as well as a 1985 Ford Travelcraft motorhome that has been modified for luxury living. Both options offer cozy living spaces, private bedrooms and bathrooms, and outdoor areas complete with hot tubs, fire pits, and granite bars.
Whether you choose to relax inside and take in the eclectic design of our accommodations, or explore the surrounding area, Riverside Hideout offers a peaceful retreat from the bustling world. With amenities such as running hot water, flushing toilets, and sinks, guests can enjoy a comfortable stay in the midst of nature.

It was also nearby to a lot of great restaurants! We didn’t have a ton of time to explore outside the area, but really enjoyed our time in the shipping container."
"This is a great place to stay if you are trying to get away!! When arrived we loved absolutely everything about this stay! We felt comfortable and right at home!! The host does an amazing job at picking wines as well of course with payment the hot tub was very clean and same with the RV I would say it was one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed like super clean and neat we would definitely come again but for 3 days instead of 1!!! And don’t forget to keep your eyes out for the dollar bills so you can re-hide them and keep the fun going!!"
