"Hi :-) I've lived in Lebanon now for a little over 2 years. I have 2 kids under 10 and no car. ... I say this so you can get a feel for obstacles that you might be facing too (e.g. shopping, etc.). I've been DYING to move into this complex because it's convenient, safe and quiet. I've also been to two showings of the 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom townhomes. And I can say from personal experience that the overall appearance of the complex is updated, very well kept, nice management, decent townhomes and lovely woods/trees surrounding. So, here's a rundown of everything else I've experienced with the 3/2 townhome. PROS: There's an entrance to the backyard via the livingrooms sliding glass door. Wonderful breeze in the summer I bet... I guess it would be great for summer parties, too, now that I think about it. Behind almost every townhome is a wooded backyard with plenty of room to let the kids loose. And if you don't have any kids, set out about 7 or 8 lawn chairs for company. Nice relaxed, casual vibe. Washer/dryer hookups on ground floor. The police patrol through almost everyday to make sure things are going smoothly. It's the most decent AND super affordable apartment complex around. (compared to about 7 more) It's 5 - 10 minute walking distance from the plaza & pretty much everything you need, * Save-A-Lot (grocery store) * Big Lots * Laundromat (5 min walk from complex, wash/dry/fold/dry cleaning/equine laundry care/6am - 9pm) * McDonalds (with a large 2 or 3 story playplace), BK, Taco Bell, Arby's, Subway * Cheap $5.00 movie theater that my kids love going to, lol (screen quality is crap though) * Speedway & BP gas stations * Hardware store (forgot the name) * Knights Inn (for your out-of-towners) * Downtown (15 - 20 minute walk, slight incline uphill) * Harmon Park (15 - 20 minute walk, bathrooms close for the winter) CONS: The complex is located almost directly behind the plaza The bedrooms are on the smaller side The kitchens aren't updated Dining room/living room combination No sidewalks leading out of the complex (so it's road or grass, not stroller friendly) I DON'T know what it's like in the summer nights (e.g. In my complex, the summer brings domestic disturbances, hooligans hanging out outside till 1am and loud music) Well, that's all I can think of right now.
