Chestnut Place Apartments

"I absolutely love living at Chestnut! The apartment comes fully furnished which is really helpful and the space and set up of the apartment works really well. They also offer so many fun events with free food and things at the clubhouse which has amazing amenities. The location is also very convenient being steps away from being on campus, I’m never walking more than 15/20 minutes to get somewhere, plus there is a bus stop right outside my apartment."

"So far I am loving living at Chestnut Place. There is a lot of of bedroom and bathroom storage, though I do wish there was more kitchen storage. The walk to campus only takes about fifteen minutes, which I love! Also, there are always events, giveaways, and free food you can get at the clubhouse. Definitely a great option for any student ready to live off campus."

"I love living here! I moved in the beginning of my sophomore year with all three of my best friends and I couldn't be more happy with this place. The staff/management is super nice and accommodates to anything you need in a timely manner. They're always doing giveaways on their socials and always interacting with their residents. By far the best off campus housing, I have no complaints."

"The building itself and location of Chestnut/The Verge is great. However the manipulative actions of the staff/management makes it very hard to give any more praise. It feels like Chestnut is trying to milk every dollar possible from their residents. They promised a parking spot for each resident, which they then turned around and began charging $200 for a permit that you aren't even GUARANTEED to get. They then claimed to have never promised a permit for everyone. They only "have a limited amount of parking" yet half of the spots at the Verge parking lots are empty. Even better, instead of just giving out more permits, they instead tow your vehicle all the way out to Hamilton. How are you even supposed to get there to pick your car up??? The make matters even worse, the parking lots are infested with hornets. Half of the cars in the lot just have hornets all over them. I KNOW it's been reported to the management, but 2 weeks later they are still all over the cars. It's a very dangerous situation to be in if you have allergies to hornets. Many people have already gotten stung. We're only 3 weeks in and I am already very uncomfortable with the treatment and threats from management. Until all residents don't have to pay two hundred dollars for a CHANCE to not get your car towed to the town that's 30 minutes away, I cannot faithfully recommend either apartment complex to any student."

"Chestnut is a great place to live! The location is perfect for classes. The apartments are very clean and well maintained. Highly suggest them for anyone looking for housing! Also, the management here is wonderful and caters to its residents' needs. Workers such as Lauren Hall are enthusiastic and respectful to each person that comes into the office. Whether I'm picking up a package or asking about rent, I know I can count on hard workers like her to make living at Chestnut Place a positive experience!"
