McKaig Court Apartments

"I would give 0 stars if I could! Property management is horrendous at this place. They refuse to reply to messages about people interested in moving there. A few months ago I had a showing scheduled to look at an available apartment there. I drove all the way over to there from Greenville, Ohio(about a 30-40 min drive) only for the property manager so send me a text just as I pulled up there and got parked, stating: "Sorry this apartment has been taken off the market". This place has no common courtesy or respect at all! Stay away from this place!"

"Drive by these apartments before you pay application fee. Coming in from out of town trying to schedule apartment tours, the leasing company would not schedule until I paid the application fee (yes I should have know better). Paid the application fee, scheduled the tour, and was at the location 30 seconds- DISGUSTING! NOTE regarding "response from the owner" - they refused to work with me, as I emailed them immediately following the 30 second tour... CAUTION when working with this leasing company. Property Management refunded by application fees, which I appreciate."

"If I could leave negative stars I would. I know someone living there who has no working heat or air and hasn’t for over 2 years now. Despite asking for it to be fixed he uses his own window air conditioning units (because they never gave him one) and he uses a space heater because they have yet to fix the issues. They are not consistent with lease renewals. And WILL raise your rent with every single one. It’s an overpriced dump with nasty carpeting and rundown apartments. They want him to pay almost $800 for a 1 bedroom with no air or heat. And that doesn’t include any heat or electricity bills. I pay $850 for my 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, townhouse with a garage and patio. Washer dryer hookup, dishwasher, garbage disposal, central air and water is included in rent. DO NOT come here. I repeat, do not."

"To be clear, I've never stayed at McKaig Apartments but only applied. I'm leaving this review just to warn people about my experience with unique circumstances. I am a fresh grad out of college starting employment at Ohio, but was required to provide pay stub to continue application at McKaig. While I understand the need for verification, the contact person showed no effort in communicating or reasoning. So I'm leaving this comment to warn of potential applicants to ask clearly about their requirements before paying for the application fee like I did."

"I haven't looked for an apartment in three years was super anxious but Lisa was patient with Me. Probably repeated herself a hundred times during the whole approval process but still responded to me so I could find my new home on my journey to better myself. I can only rate customer service atm and its amazing being treated like a human when your having a panic attack."
