Graceview Apartments

"STAY AWAY! The only way to get a simple maintenance request addressed is to put your rent in ESCROW. My lease ended and I moved out, they changed the locks, and they are telling me I still owe rent for December, and they will send my bill to collections if I don't pay it. They want me to pay rent on an empty apartment with no utilities, that I have no lease for and they changed the locks on. Everyone has dogs, and despite it being service animals only there is constantly dog poop on the sidewalks and even in the stairwell. They told me I didn't pay rent one time and put an eviction notice on my door. They then would not answer my calls. My rent check had been cashed from my bank. After no response for days about this eviction notice I called the police to report my rent check stolen. After the police contacted Bridgestream they finally called me to say it was a clerical error and not to worry about it. Well I worried for three days about my family being evicted even though my rent check was cashed on the first. They continually told me I had an unregistered dog in my unit and would be charged additional fees, despite never having any pets of any kind in my unit. The windows would not lock and management refused to do anything about it, leaving my apartment at risk of a break in. They ripped the carpet out of the stairwell and left it for weeks, leaving my family to dodge exposed tack strips anytime we came in or out of the unit. I could go on and on about the disaster that is Bridgestream, but I think I've said enough."

"These are definitely low profile apartments. Yet, they expect you to pay a fee of $50 per application plus make 4X amount of income matching rent and a perfect credit score. Beyond ridiculous. The rent is way too expensive for these aged low profile apartments anyway. Another thing is...I asked owner if apartments still have termites and other bugs. He said: umm, they probably don't. Omg what is that supposed to mean!? Another landlord that is familiar with Graceview told me that the places were fixed up with new things and that's why expensive. I hear that everyday about places. Old but new parts attached and due to that the rent is raised. Well tenants shouldn't have to pay for items/parts that should be there in the first place. It's crazy these days"

"My application got approved and I went on a tour. At the tour I was told I had 3 days to turn in a security deposit, sign the lease, and turn in the first months rent. I wanted to move forward so I contacted Caitlyn from management, as I was instructed to do. After I began asking questions she stopped responding even though I was contacting her within her working office hours. All she had to say 3 days later was “I do apologize for the delay in response”. I get no reimbursement for the time and money I wasted here. I cannot imagine living here and having to deal with this lack of communication from management. Holy unprofessional."

"I’ve lived here since early June. Very happy with the property. Quiet neighborhood, washer and dryer work well, utilities are cheap. Very well priced for the size and area. Will and have recommended other people to look into the apartments recently."

"Terrible. They will ignore any maintence requests you submit; washer was flooded for a month before someone responded to come out. They don't clean the lobbies in the buildings, and will let bugs and other issues just fester. When we finally moved, they purposefully messed up my application for the new place (Thankfully our new place noticed how poorly they filled things out, and noted they were being petty for us moving. That was proof of our residence, haha). Worst thing about tolerating all of this? Never got my deposit back."
