"For $750 for a 1 bedroom (the other "bedroom" is just an extension of the living room), you get nothing but broken appliances, used carpeting, a tyrant like management company, and run down building in which the exterior is falling apart. The air conditioning system was inadequate, and every time it kicked on, you could hear loud whistling sounds from the air ducts as whoever installed it didin't calculate the airflow requirements properly. The dryer's safety latch was broken and never fixed, the dishwasher always flooded, and was never fixed, the garbage disposal was broken, also never fixed, the lights were wired wrong in the dining area, constantly popping bulbs, If you touched the metal sink while your hands were wet, you got a light shock... on and on, and none of it ever really was fixed. At least 3 cars had their windows smashed in the one year while I was there to my knowledge, probably even more. Another car parked on the corner of the entrance to the apartment was smashed by a truck entering the parking area. Not exactly a safe feeling. When our lease was up, the management company surprised us telling us that we had to give a 2 month notice, not the usual 1 month notice that every other company I have rented from in the last 20 years has offered. Despite our efforts to be out of the apartment at the end of our contract date, the company still demanded (or else) that we paid an additional month beyond our contract date. AND THEN THE IDIOT MANAGER had the nerve to tell us after forcing us to pay an additional month, that he found a renter and needed to rent the room, asking if we could move out sooner. (we were moved out a month ago and already living in the new house.) The management company has no respect, no compassion, and no leniency towards their renters. My rent date fell on a Sunday, in which I paid it online that day. But because their accounting doesn't operate on Sundays, they slapped us with a $50 fine. In fact, they did that twice. And when I told the manager it was paid on the date due, he smugly said "there is nothing I can do". -Yeah, right! So in the end, we were scammed with an additional $600 after our contract, none of the appliances ever were fixed, and we expect based on their ignorance and greed, to never see our $350 deposit. Actually, we were hit up twice for deposits so it was $650 deposit, of which $300 the manager put in their own pockets and said was "non-refundable" ***I STRONGLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS OVERPRICED, BROKEN AND RUN DOWN APARTMENT COMPLEX AND ITS GREEDY MANAGEMENT COMPANY."
