"This is by far the worst apartment complex in Toledo. I gave them the benefit of the doubt while we lived there but since we have moved out and they want to charge us $1,153 so i can’t find a single nice word to post. We have also asked them to revise their charges as I spent 4 hours cleaning it from Top to bottom and took pictures of every room to prove it. They are charging us for absolutely ridiculous things such as removing child proof plastic outlet covers and things that we had asked maintenance to fix before moving in, but they never had. I had heard right before moving out that they would try and charge us for absolutely anything they could and it is 100% accurate. Not to mention maintenance is so busy working on every single apartment complex this scam of an owner has in Toledo, they are never able to get to the apartment in a timely fashion. Even if it’s an emergency!! They are now telling us we are required to pay them the money owed or it will be taken to court. This is a HUGE scam and i would never in a million years recommend it to even a fly. My words of advice are to never ever ever even consider looking into this place."

"The atmosphere is a great one - I can honestly say it’s a good place to live and maintenance is friendly. That being said, management sucks. Plenty attempts were made to collect money from me for damages that I did not do, and they didn’t get a dollar out of me. Take pictures and do a walk-through video of your apartment before moving in. If you must terminate your lease early, it’s 2 months rent that you must pay. Deposit is not forfeited upon early termination."

"Like others have said, they charge you for everything they possibly can when you move out. As an example, we were charged for leaving a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, not a joke. The other charges were equally as outrageous. They even charged us to repaint, which last I checked is included in the whole apartment deal. We left the place spotless. To make matters worse, they send you directly to collections before you even have the invoice. The first time you find out you owe them money is through a collection agency. It's truly not worth living here. They made moving out an absolute nightmare and ruined an otherwise decent apartment experience. Look elsewhere. There are more ethical places out there."

"Please steer clear. They charged me over $300 for dented/rusted doors in the closets and claimed I didn't put it on move in evaluation. Who looks at that? They charge you for EVERYTHING even if you clean the place SPOTLESS when you move out. Their goal is to keep your security deposit, and charge you fictitious fees and pray you don't show up for court to pay whatever they charge you plus court and lawyer fees. Stayed there two years they never fixed anything, can't even use the appliances while staying at Heathergate club paying over $700 a month. Paid everything they asked even an extra month of rent while not being on the property. Months without air conditioning. The worst place I've ever rented from."

"I've lived here for 2 years now and I haven't experienced many issues at all with this place. Maintenance is relatively knowledgeable and response time is good. Quiet apartment for the most part. I never have an issue with parking. The only complaint that I have is that if you miss rent you get a scary looking eviction notice on your door. I've seen this twice now, once was by my own negligence. They don't offer a website so it makes paying rent and knowing how much you owe difficult (after introducing pets and rent increases it makes complicated). I was paying a month ahead for a while (after my first slip up) and then got back on schedule by skipping a month and I received that scary eviction notice. I sent images of my past checks to show that I was paid up and the CFO took care of them without incident. Edit: After hearing a few complaints about the loud kids and people jamming out to music I decided to disclose that I live in building 11. This is at the front of the complex and I very rarely have issues with noise. Edit #2: They were able to start cleaning my apartment 2wks before I was done paying rent because I had moved out. They charged me roughly $40 out of my security deposit to throw 2 things away that I had missed. After they started cleaning I was still going to pay $370 for those 2 weeks which gave them time to clean/show the place and get someone moved in the day after I started paying rent. And then they charge me money to throw away an old bowling ball and a bucket. I won't get my $40 back, but at least I can complain about it on the Internet. Reputation > $40"
