"This establishment has changed hands again and going down. A roof leaks into the ceiling light fixture, and they take their time just putting a band-aid on it! Residents are required to pay for light bulbs now, and some grinch decided no more plants and flowers I previously planted, so my beautiful EXPENSIVE ceramic teapot on a pole was broken but no compensation. The tree blown down last month is still laying there, too!"
"Not as nice as it looks! Apartments are beautiful. but dont let that fool you. Neighbors and seniors in community are nosey and act like two year olds! Snooping and complaining about everything you do. And the rules here are very many. They treat you more like a nursing home than an independent living. The seniors here most of them are just awful form their own little groups, become snobs and talk about people all the time. And the management believes every little complaint they phone in without any proof. You cannot have aquariums or birds in cages, or flowers without containers..(even though the office is allowed flowers without containers) They are always trying to get me out for no particular good reason. I do beleive the management is kind of discriminative against white people. we seem to get "picked" on so much more than the others. yes true. . Ive never lived in a senior place before and never will again. The people are not friendly. very few. they are snoopy complaining and turning you in to the office if ya look at them the wrong way. But they are beautiful apartments and maintenance is very good. So if ya wanna live here you just got to kind of ignore everyone. and not let the management bully you."
"We visit a friend that lives here every week. There is a lengthy wait list to get a unit here, and for good reason. The exterior area is always well-maintained: sidewalks and roads cleared of ice and snow during the winter; lawns and landscaping properly watered and cared for during warmer months. The neighbors are quiet and respectful for the most part, and there is a lovely lake with seating that is surrounded by many, but not all, of the units. Each unit has low step entryways and at least one uncovered parking spot by their front door. If needed, Tarta is also available."
