"long story short: don’t move here. we were there for five months before a roach infestation took over our floor in june. a month later it still wasn’t taken care of, so we were forced to move out. they made us pay rent for the month we were not living there. the conditions were literally unlivable and we still had to pay rent, or we’d be served an eviction notice that would be on our records indefinitely. management’s hours are unpredictable — you never know when someone will actually be there. the hours listed online are inaccurate. you have to email numerous times before you get a response, IF you get one. it’s basically impossible to reach them. the hallways were cleaned once in six months. we had countless problems with things not having been inspected before we moved in. for example, our air conditioning unit’s filter was horrifically dirty, clearly not cleaned in years. there are no amenities. just don’t move here. it’s not worth it — the money or the hassle."

"All of these reviews are out of date. I love living here the apartments are updated, and more modern. It's under new ownership and she takes care of everything and gets things done fast. I loved living here and would come back!"

"Update August 2022 I moved out of these apartments last year and everything that they replied too me in this review literally never happened. The reviews speak for themselves, you have been warned. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! The rent was reasonable but the property has been taken over by new owners. The same exact apartment that was $575 is now $799 and all they did was apply a new coat of paint. Seriously don’t waste your money, it’s not Perrysburg schools and there are no amenities. Not even a reliable washer and dryer. You can get a WAY bigger townhouse right up the street for much less"

"When I first moved in complex in 2016 there was a waiting list, rent was reasonable for what you actually received in terms of style, amenities, etc.. Maintenance use to be walking to your unit before you hung up phone to fix or at least investigate an issue. Rent increases were modest too, I think the highest I had was $25 in one year. Now let us fast forward to new owners who have raised rent so much that I am now paying 55% more than when I originally moved in the complex in 2016. 55%… not a joke as I have all my leases from the years as evidence. So many tenants moved out after first I total rent increases of 30some percent that they got desperate to fill units that they lifted rules on renting such as animal size. Now, while I love doggies more than the next person, I do not think having 2 massive German Shepard’s or other large breeds in an apartment size of 550-781 sq ft makes much sense. And trust me the halls smell horrid most of the times from dirty large animal scents, don’t get me started of scent during rain or snow. And the new owners do not have cleaners come into buildings but once a month, so it’s disgusting and I avoid having company out of embarrassment from odor. I’VE APOLOGIZED TO DOORDASH DRIVERS FOR THE STINK IN THE HALLS!! I’d be shocked if background checks are even being done to be honest, I’ve seen the cops here more in last couple years more than ever too. You’ll hear neighbors screaming at each other in parking lots, at least I hope it’s a parking lot and not coming from inside the building, because they only rent to the classiest of people. Which I find is hilarious since I was told by former complex manager the new owners were hoping to have more doctors and lawyers as tenants… I laughed at her face even back then at the comment. Onto other issues you can expect while renting at Brandon Manor… you can wait a week or longer for maintenance to even come look at a problem. I hope your garbage disposal isn’t backed up so it doesn’t cause an odor. The laundry facilities are always broken now too since switching companies for service with no indicators on when they’ll be fixed. You literally only have key access to 2 washer/dryer hook ups per building of 36 apartments, so I can’t even take laundry to one of other laundry rooms on site. If you want to rent from a Slumlord and have your rent raised insane amounts each year, with no amenities provided then look no further then Brandon Manor Apartments. Seriously, look else where, because so many around me have gyms, theatre rooms, free Internet and cable, swimming pools, etc… they offer nothing here. I’m willing to sell my soul to move out of this dump after this lease is over."

"Lived there for a year. About 3, maybe 4 months in, a new management company took over. They proceeded to rip out the entire courtyard between the buildings we were in. Construction crews were clearly not told to take any sort of time restraints into consideration. They'd start as early as 7am, even on weekends, and would go late. They closed off and repaved the parking lot constantly. The water was shut off several times a week. When it came to renew our lease, our 1-bedroom apartment had a rent increase of almost $200 with zero talk of improvements. Right after we decided not to renew our lease they started offering "upgrade" packages so that you could pay for them to replace your refrigerator or carpets from the 90s. That's a hard no. Do your research. There are better apartments in the area for the same price point with more space and an office staff that actually answers the phone."
