"The landlord is extremely conniving and untrustworthy. He tried to get me to sign a lease without touring me in the apartment. Never sign a lease without seeing the apartment and taking pictures first. Everything about this place seemed like it was a scam with the exception of the virtual tour that I received when I first went in. The virtual tour was enough for me to deposit a application at a cost of $50, but a virtual tour is not enough for me to sign a lease that is a legally binding document. Trust is the most important thing for a tenant and landlord to have with each other. Joseph, the current landlord, does not seem to value trust only money."
"Apartments were outdated and not in good shape. There was a crack in the outside wall (they said they would fill in but didnt) deep enough to put 2 fingers an inch deep at least. The son took over and is wrongfully keeping deposit money. When trying to contact him to correct the issues, he said he would get back to me but wouldn't. I tried for several MONTHS to hear back and at best he said he would contact me a certain day, then wouldnt. When I messaged asking what was going on, he would ask who it was, try to call and again id have to explain who I was and suddenly he stops talking and acts like he wasnt just talking to me. I was charged for leaving furniture by the dumpster which I didnt do. I was charged for other things wrongfully and got only 1/5th of my deposit. I should have gotten all of the deposit back. The old man that originally had me sign the lease said he knew the place was old and i wouldnt get charged for things like the burn on the counter from before i moved in. The son charged me for it. Im incredibly disappointed and feel wronged as i deserved my entire security deposit back. I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND."
